Arkatech Beatz
Arkatech Beatz (formerly known as The Infinite Arkatechz) are a music production team from New York City, now based in Atlanta. They were affiliated with Loud Records/Sony Music Entertainment as A&R executives, and have composed, written, and produced music for gold and multi-platinum selling artists such as Big Pun, Nas, Raekwon, Prodigy of Mobb Deep, Mýa, Waka Flocka Flame, Jadakiss of The Lox, and others. Arkatech Beatz were also affiliated with Wu Tang Clan's American Cream Team as well as written and composed music for various movies such as the controversial 1999 drama film, ''Black and White'', ''All The Women I’ve Loved'', and others. Mobb Deep
Mobb Deep was an American hip hop duo from New York City. The duo consisted of rappers Prodigy and Havoc. They are considered to be among the principal progenitors of hardcore East Coast hip hopEdwards, Paul, 2009, ''How to Rap: The Art & Science of the Hip-Hop MC'', Chicago Review Press, p. 323. and hip hop in the mid-1990s. Mobb Deep became one of the most successful rap duos of all time, having sold over three million records. Their best-known albums are ''The Infamous'' (1995), '' Hell on Earth'' (1996) and ''Murda Muzik'' (1999), and their most successful singles were "Shook Ones (Part II)" and " Survival of the Fittest." ''Nas & Ill Will Records Presents QB's Finest'', commonly known as simply ''QB's Finest'', is a compilation album released on November 21, 2000 and the second release from rapper Nas' new Ill Will Records imprint, distributed by Columbia Records. It featured Nas and a number of other rappers from the Queensbridge housing projects, including Mobb Deep, Nature, Nashawn, Littles, Bravehearts and Cormega, who had briefly reconciled a longtime feud with Nas. The album also featured guest appearances from Queensbridge's hip hop legends Roxanne Shanté, MC Shan and Marley Marl, both of whom appeared on the lead single "Da Bridge 2001" (based on MC Shan's and Marley Marl's 1986 classic "The Bridge"). ''The Lost Tapes'' is a compilation album by American rapper Nas. It was released on September 23, 2002, by Ill Will Records and Columbia Records, who wanted to capitalize on what was seen in hip hop music as Nas' artistic comeback the year before, and compiles previously unreleased tracks that were discarded from recording sessions for the rapper's previous studio albums ''I Am... (Nas album), I Am...'' (1999) and ''Stillmatic'' (2001). It features production by L.E.S. (producer), L.E.S., The Alchemist (musician), The Alchemist, Trackmasters, Poke and Tone, and D-Dot, Deric "D-Dot" Angelettie, among others. Cuban Link
Felix Delgado (born December 18, 1974), better known by his stage name Cuban Link, is a Cuban American rapper and original member of Terror Squad. Biography Delgado was born in Havana, Cuba, in 1974. He and his family emigrated to the United States in 1980 during the Mariel boatlift, settling in the South Bronx in New York City. When Delgado was growing up, hip hop music was rising in popularity in his neighborhood. Delgado took on stage name Cuban Link and associated with fellow rappers Big Pun and Triple Seis in a group under the name Full-A-Clips. Cuban Link and Big Pun both made guest performances on The Beatnuts' single "Off the Books" in 1997. They joined the local rap group Terror Squad, and Link performed on the track "Tell Me What You Want" from the group's self-titled debut album. Terror Squad (group)
Terror Squad was an American hip hop collective that was first established in 1998. Based in the Bronx borough of New York City, the members of Terror Squad collectively debuted on a song in member Fat Joe's albums ''Jealous One's Envy'' and '' Don Cartagena''. Terror Squad released its debut album, '' Terror Squad: The Album'', in 1999, with its first major hit "Whatcha Gon' Do", credited mostly to Big Pun, who died of a heart attack in 2000. After Big Pun's death, his longtime partners Cuban Link and Triple Seis left the group and were subsequently replaced by Remy Martin (later known as Remy Ma) and Tony Sunshine. ''The Documentary'' is the second studio album by American rapper the Game. It was released on January 18, 2005, by Aftermath Entertainment, G-Unit Records, and Interscope Records. In 2001, while the Game was in a hospital recovering from a shooting, he decided to pursue a career in music. He released the mixtape, "Q.B. 2 Compton" under his then record label "Get Low Recordz" in 2002, which was later was discovered by Dr. Dre and led to him signing the Game to his label, Aftermath Entertainment. Jayceon Terrell Taylor (born November 29, 1979), better known by his stage name the Game or simply Game, is an American rapper. Born in Compton, California, he initially released a series of mixtapes under the wing of fellow West Coast rapper JT the Bigga Figga. ''Yeeeah Baby'' is the second and final studio album by rapper Big Pun and the first album to be released posthumously in the wake of Big Pun's death in February 2000. It was subsequently certified Gold in July three months later and would go on to be certified Platinum on October 31, 2017 and has sold over 1,100,000 copies in the United States.
