Arkansas Highway 37 is a designation for two state highways in Arkansas. The main segment of runs from McCrory to Cord. A short segment of runs north in Benton County from U.S. Route 62 to the Missouri state line. Route description McCrory to Cord AR 37 begins north of McCrory at AR 17 and runs north to AR 145 near Beedeville and AR 14 in Amagon. The route passes near the Cache River National Wildlife Refuge. The route continues north to AR 18 in Grubbs and US 67 (Future I-57) in Tuckerman. AR 37 also passes the historic Tuckerman Water Tower in Tuckerman. Arkansas Highway 37 continues northwest to Cord, where the route meets AR 122 and terminates. Gateway to Missouri The only town on the route, Gateway, is also the southern terminus (at US 62). In 1926, Arkansas renumbered its highways into a more traditional format. The system to be replaced was established in 1924 as Arkansas' first comprehensive highway plan.McLaren, Christie. This resulted in the first true numbering of state highways in Arkansas. A concurrency in a road network is an instance of one physical roadway bearing two or more different route numbers. When two roadways share the same right-of-way, it is sometimes called a common section or commons. Route 37 is a highway in southwest Missouri. Its northern terminus is at U.S. Route 160 in Golden City (it shares this terminus with Route 126); its southern terminus is at the Arkansas state line where it continues as Highway 37, though it only runs ''very'' briefly before ending at U.S. Route 62 in Gateway, Arkansas. Route description Route 37 begins as a continuation of Arkansas Highway 37 which starts about one half of a mile south of the state line in Gateway, Arkansas. It then passes through Seligman and intersects the southern terminus of Route 112. Route 37 then intersects Route 90 in Washburn and then enters Cassville, where it intersects Route 86 and the northern terminus of Route 112.
