Arkansas Highway 210 (AR 210 and Hwy. 210) is a designation for two east–west state highways in Cleburne County, Arkansas. One segment of runs in Heber Springs from Greers Ferry Lake east to Heber Springs Road ( Highway 25B) as Case Ford Road. A second segment begins at Highway 110 and runs northeast as Industrial Park Rd. Route description Case Ford Road segment The route begins at the shores of Greers Ferry Lake and runs south to terminate at Heber Springs Road ( Highway 25B). The route is two-lane, undivided for its entire length. Industrial Park Road segment Highway 210 begins at Highway 110 and runs northeast to terminate at Cow Shoals Lane. Greers Ferry Lake
Greers Ferry Lake is the reservoir formed by Greers Ferry Dam, a United States Army Corps of Engineers dam in Northern Arkansas. It is located about north of Little Rock. Geography The reservoir consists of two lakes connected by a water-filled gorge called the Narrows. The area of the two lakes and the Narrows totals about with a combined shoreline of just over 340 miles. In the 1800s there was a town, Higden, in the valley flooded by the lake. The farmers in Higden had constant trouble with flooding. The land was purchased, residents left and the city was abandoned, the cemeteries were moved, and the area was allowed to flood. The town has since been re-established on a nearby hill. Many nearby residents and several eyewitness accounts tell that homes and buildings still stand under the water to this day. Heber Springs is a city in and the county seat of Cleburne County, Arkansas, United States. The population was 7,165 at the 2010 census. Geography Heber Springs is located near the center of Cleburne County at (35.494329, −92.039168). Arkansas Highway 5 bypasses the center of the city to the east, leading north to Mountain View and south to Little Rock (via U.S. Route 67). Searcy is to the southeast via Highway 16. According to the United States Census Bureau, the city has a total area of , all land. The city was named for a series of natural springs that are located on the east side of town on Main Street. Cleburne County is a county located in the U.S. state of Arkansas. As of the 2010 census, the population was 25,970. The county seat and most populous city is Heber Springs. The county was formed on February 20, 1883, as the last of Arkansas's 75 counties to be formed. It is named for Confederate Major-General Patrick Cleburne. Arkansas has long had a stigma of poor roads, dating from the "Arkansas Roads Scandal" playing a prominent role in state politics through the 1920s and 1930s, periodic allegations of corruption, waste, and fraud, and a long-running struggle to adequately fund the operation, maintenance and expansion of a large highway system serving a rural state.
