Arkady Ponomaryov
Arkady Nikolaevich Ponomarev (russian: Аркадий Николаевич Пономарёв; born 16 May 1956, in Voronezh) is a Russian political figure, entrepreneur, and a deputy of the 8th State Duma. In 2009, he was granted a Doctor of Sciences in Technical Sciences degree After graduating from the university, Ponomarev started working at construction sites in Tver Oblast. From 1984 to 1987, he was the chief engineer of the Rossosh Dairy Plant. He left the position to become the chief engineer and the head of the dairy plant Voronezhsky. In 2005, based on the Voronezhsky dairy plant, Ponomarev founded the company Molvest which manufactures popular dairy products. On 14 March 2010 Ponomarev was elected deputy of the Voronezh Oblast Duma. In 2013, he became deputy of the 6th State Duma. The State Duma (russian: Госуда́рственная ду́ма, r=Gosudárstvennaja dúma), commonly abbreviated in Russian as Gosduma ( rus, Госду́ма), is the lower house of the Federal Assembly of Russia, while the upper house is the Federation Council of Russia, Federation Council. Dissernet (russian: Диссернет) is a volunteer community network working to clean Russian science of plagiarism. The core activity of the community is conducting examinations of doctoral and habilitation (higher doctorate) theses defended in Russian scientific and educational institutions since the end of the 1990s, and making the results of such examinations known to as many people as possible. The community is composed of professional scientists working in various fields of science both in Russia and abroad, and also journalists, civil activists and volunteers. The community was established in January 2013. The full Dissernet site, dissernet.org, as well as its reduced version, dissernet.ru, were opened on 23 September 2013. The State Duma of the Federal Assembly of the Russian Federation of the 7th convocation (russian: Государственная Дума Федерального Собрания Российской Федерации седьмого созыва) is a former convocation of the lower house of Russian parliament. Tver Oblast (russian: Тверска́я о́бласть, ''Tverskaya oblast'', ), from 1935 to 1990 known as Kalinin Oblast (), is a federal subject of Russia (an oblast).
