Arizona Western College (AWC) is a public community college in Yuma, Arizona. It offers associate degrees, occupational certificates, and transfer degrees. AWC also offers classes in Dateland, La Paz, San Luis, Somerton, and Wellton. Academics Arizona Western College offers over 100 degrees and certificates in person and online. Northern Arizona University
Northern Arizona University (NAU) is a public research university based in Flagstaff, Arizona. It was founded in 1899 as the final public university established in the Arizona Territory, 13 years before Arizona was admitted as the 48th state. NAU is one of the three universities governed by the Arizona Board of Regents and accredited by the Higher Learning Commission. Bengie Molina
Benjamin José Molina (born July 20, 1974), nicknamed "Big Money", is a former Major League Baseball (MLB) catcher. He played for the Anaheim Angels / Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim (1998–2005), Toronto Blue Jays (2006), San Francisco Giants (2007–2010), and Texas Rangers (2010). He is the older brother of major league catchers José Molina and Yadier Molina. Molina played a handful of games for the Anaheim Angels in 1998 and 1999. Rafael Paulo de Lara Araújo (; born August 12, 1980) is a Brazilian former professional basketball player. He played for three years in the National Basketball Association. College career After attending Padre Anacleto High School in São Paulo, Araújo went to the United States to play college basketball, attending Arizona Western College in Yuma, Arizona. In his freshman season (2000–01), he averaged 12.1 points and 8.4 rebounds per game. Crawford Francis Ker (born May 5, 1962) is a former American football guard in the National Football League (NFL) for the Dallas Cowboys and Denver Broncos. He played college football at the University of Florida. Early years Ker was born in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, and was the only son of George and Anne Ker. Leonard Thompson (American Football)
Leonard Irwin Thompson (July 28, 1952 – August 15, 2021) was an American professional football player who was a wide receiver in the National Football League (NFL), spending his entire career with the Detroit Lions (1975–1986). Thompson was an eighth-round pick in the 1975 NFL Draft out of Oklahoma State. Volleyball is a team sport in which two teams of six players are separated by a net. Each team tries to score points by grounding a ball on the other team's court under organized rules. Western States Football League
The Western States Football League (WSFL) is a defunct American junior college football league for schools in the states of Arizona, Idaho, New Mexico and Utah that existed from 1985 to 2018. The league was part of the National Junior College Athletic Association. History Originally formed in 1985, the WSFL initially consisted of ten schools, six from the Arizona Community College Conference (ACCAC) and four from the Intermountain Collegiate Athletic Conference (ICAC).
