Arizona Outlaws (AIF)
The Arizona Outlaws were a team of American Indoor Football that played during 2012 only. Based in Prescott Valley, Arizona, the Outlaws played their home games at Tim's Toyota Center. The Outlaws were the second indoor football team to play in Prescott Valley, following the Arizona Adrenaline which played in the American Indoor Football Association for 2008 before taking two seasons off, after which they reactivated as a member of the Indoor Football League for the 2011 season before folding for good after said season. The team's name was picked from a suggestion box and shares its name with the Arizona Outlaws of the United States Football League. Tim's Toyota Center
The Findlay Toyota Center (formerly Tim's Toyota Center and originally built as the Prescott Valley Convention & Events Center) is a 5,100-seat multi-purpose arena located at 3201 North Main Street in Prescott Valley, Arizona. Since opening in November 2006, it is home to a variety of Arizona Interscholastic Association basketball and wrestling competitions; for instance, in 2011, it hosted the 1A and 2A Conference semifinal and finals games and the 3A Conference quarterfinals. It has also hosted a few monster truck shows. The arena hosted the American Indoor Football's Arizona Outlaws (AIF), Arizona Outlaws in 2012 and the Central Hockey League's Arizona Sundogs from 2006 to 2014. The AIFL began as a regional league with six franchises on the East Coast of the United States in 2005. After a rapid, and largely failed, expansion effort in 2006, most of the league's remaining teams jumped to the new AIFA (the rest joined the short-lived WIFL). The AIFA expanded throughout existing territory and, in 2008, expanded into the Western United States. The league legally divided into two entities to allow for a partial merger with the Southern Indoor Football League, which resulted in all of its Eastern teams merging into the SIFL and the AIFA only maintaining its western teams. Arizona Adrenaline
The Arizona Adrenaline were a professional indoor American football team based in Prescott Valley, Arizona. They were members of the Mountain West division of the Intense Conference of the Indoor Football League (IFL). The Adrenaline were founded in 2008 as an expansion member of the American Indoor Football Association (AIFA). After two years of dormancy, the Adrenaline returned for 2011 in the IFL. Indoor Football League
The Indoor Football League (IFL) is a professional indoor American football league created in 2008 out of the merger between the Intense Football League and United Indoor Football. It has one of the largest number of currently active teams among indoor football leagues. The league has operated continuously under the same name and corporate structure longer than any other current indoor football league. With the closure of the Arena Football League in 2019, the IFL is the oldest active professional indoor football league in North America. As of 2022 season, the league consists of 14 teams in two conferences with each team playing 16 games over 19 weeks. The Arizona Outlaws were a professional American football team that played in the United States Football League in the mid-1980s. They were owned by Fresno banker and real estate magnate William Tatham Sr., who had briefly owned the Portland Thunder of the World Football League. The United States Football League (USFL) was a professional American football league that played for three seasons, 1983 through 1985. The league played a spring/summer schedule in each of its active seasons. The 1986 season was scheduled to be played in the autumn/winter, directly competing against the long-established National Football League (NFL).
