Arizal Effendi
Arizal Effendi (23 March 19498 December 2008) was an Indonesian diplomat. Born in Medan, North Sumatra, Arizal Effendi was a career diplomat. As Indonesian Ambassador to Australia he and his family arrived in Australia on 7 November 1999 and delivered his credentials on 19 November 1999. Addressing the National Press Club in February 2000, he called on Australia's media to be more responsible in its coverage of Indonesia, in the hope that would help to restore bilateral relations. Sudjadnan Parnohadiningrat
Sudjadnan Parnohadiningrat (born 21 October 1952) is a former Indonesian diplomat. He served as an official in the Indonesian Department of Foreign Affairs for over two decades. Sudjadnan had held several high-profile positions, including Secretary General of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (2002 to 2006), Ambassador of Indonesia to Australia (2001–2002) and Ambassador to the United States (2006–2009). In January 2011, Sudjadnan was charged in court for unlawfully authorizing fund disbursement in 2003 to Indonesian Embassy in Singapore when he was Secretary General of the DFA. He was released in October 2011 and received another separate court verdict in 2014 for he was responsible in the DFA budget misappropriation in 2004 - 2005, for which he served some 20 months in Sukamiskin prison. Wiryono Sastrohandoyo
Wiryono Sastrohandoyo (born 31 May 1934) is a former Indonesian diplomat. He was ambassador to Austria, France and Australia. Born in Yogyakarta, Special Region of Yogyakarta on 31 May 1934, Wiryono graduated from Yogyakarta Faculty in 1959. Joining the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in 1962, his career saw him in diplomatic roles in Argentina, the United States, Austria, France and Australia. He was Indonesia's Permanent Representative to the UN in Vienna from 1988 to 1989 and Ambassador to France from 1993 to 1996. Appointed ambassador to Australia in December 1995, Wiryono was tasked with the job of rebuilding the bilateral relationship. Indonesia had withdrawn the appointment of its previous ambassador in July 1995 after pressure from the Australian Government.
