Aristide Guerriero
Aristide Guerriero is an Italian former shot putter and throwing specialist. He is the strength and conditioning coach for the Nagato Blue Angels Rugby Football Club. Education Guerriero earned his master's degree in Sport Science at Foro Italico University of Rome. He is a strength and conditioning specialist and tactical facilitator through the National Strength & Conditioning Association. Career Guerriero served two years as the head strength and conditioning coach for the New Zealand Sports Academy. In Wellington he collaborated with former Samoan thrower Shaka Sola, supervising the training of young New Zealand throwers. He was the strength and conditioning coach for Te Wananga o Aotearoa. In 2018 Guerriero became the head of athletic performance of Brazil national rugby union team. The American Raptors is a professional rugby union team based in the municipality of Glendale in Colorado. The team plays in the transcontinental Super Rugby Americas competition . Established as the Glendale Raptors in 2006, the team was a founding member of Major League Rugby in 2017, but they played there only three years, competing as the Colorado Raptors in their final shortened season of 2020 before withdrawing from the league. This is achieved through the combination of strength training, aerobic conditioning, and other methods. Unlike an athletic trainer, a strength and conditioning coach is focused primarily on sport performance. The coach help athletes with injury prevention, through strengthening and coaching of movement mechanics within a sport.
