Agrinio (Greek: Αγρίνιο, , Latin: ''Agrinium'') is the largest city of the Aetolia-Acarnania regional unit of Greece and its largest municipality, with 106,053 inhabitants. It is the economical center of Aetolia-Acarnania, although its capital is the town of Mesolonghi. The settlement dates back to ancient times. Aiolikos Football Club () is a Greek association football club, based in Mytilene. They currently play on the 6th group of Gamma Ethniki. History The club was established in 1975 after a merger of two local teams – Atlantas and Apollon. The name Aiolikos was inspired by the Aeolians, the name by which the Greek inhabitants of Lesbos and nearby Aeolis, Anatolia, have been known since antiquity. It has been home to the new training facilities of Panathinaikos football club since the summer of 2013. Nafpaktiakos Asteras ( el, Π.Α.Σ. Ναυπακτιακός Αστέρας) is a Greek football club based in the town of Nafpaktos, Greece. History It was formed by the conjunction of two former clubs of the city: Nafpaktiakos and Asteras Nafpaktou, in 1958. The club's (full name: "Papacharalambeios Athlitikos Syllogos Nafpaktiakos Asteras"), as well as the team's home stadium (Papacharalabeio Ethniko Stadio), are named in the honour of Dimitrios Papacharalambous, a benefactor of the city.
