Arie Reich
Arie Reich ( he, אריה רייך; born September 23, 1959) is an Israeli legal scholar specializing in international trade law and European Union Law. He is a full professor at the Bar-Ilan University Faculty of Law, and serves as the Vice Rector of the university. He previously served as the Dean of the Faculty of Law and Dean of students. Biography Reich was born in Göteborg, Sweden. In 1973 his family made Aliyah and moved to Herzliyah Pituach, Israel. Following high school, Reich joined a group of students under the tutelage of Rabbis Haim Sabato and Yitzhak Shilat as part of the founding class of Yeshivat Hesder Birkat Moshe in Maale Adumim. In 1978 Reich was drafted into the Armored Corps of the IDF where he served as a tank gunner. Concurrent to his studies in Yeshiva Reich received a teaching license specializing in Judaic studies from the Lifshitz Teachers College in Jerusalem. A tribunal, generally, is any person or institution with authority to judge, adjudicate on, or determine claims or disputes—whether or not it is called a tribunal in its title.
