Argyris Pedoulakis
Argyris Pedoulakis (alternate spellings: Argirios, Argiris, Argyrios) ( el, Αργύρης Πεδουλάκης; born May 26, 1964) is a former Greek professional basketball player and basketball coach, who is currently acting as the general manager for Panathinaikos of the Greek Basket League and the EuroLeague. Playing career Club career Pedoulakis started playing youth basketball with the youth clubs of Peristeri in 1977. He made his professional debut with Peristeri in 1983. In 1986, he moved to Panathinaikos, and he was one of the best Panathinaikos players of his era. He played for Panathinaikos until 1992. In 1993, he returned to Nikas Peristeri, and played for them until his retirement in 1995. National team career Pedoulakis was a member of the senior men's Greek national basketball team that played at the 1986 FIBA World Championship. 2018–19 Greek Basket League
The 2018–19 Greek betshop.gr Basket League was the 79th season of the Greek Basket League, the top-tier level professional club basketball league in Greece. The season started on 7 October 2018, and ended on 15 June 2019. Panathinaikos OPAP won the Greek Basket League championship for a record 37th time, after beating Promitheas Patras 3–0 in the Finals. The season infamously featured a major feud between traditional rivals Panathinaikos and Olympiacos over refereeing decisions in the 2019 Greek Cup semifinals game between the two teams, which eventually culminated in Olympiacos also forfeiting their playoffs. The 2002–03 Greek Basket League season was the 63rd season of the Greek Basket League, the highest tier professional basketball league in Greece. It was also the 11th season of the Greek Basket League championship that was regulated by HEBA (ESAKE). The winner of the league was Panathinaikos, which beat AEK Athens in the league's payoff's finals. The clubs Near East and Olympia Larissa were relegated to the Greek A2 League. Panagiotis Vasilopoulos, commonly known as Panos Vasilopoulos (alternate spellings: Panayiotis, Vassilopoulos) (Greek: Παναγιώτης "Πάνος" Βασιλόπουλος; born February 8, 1984) is a Greek former professional basketball player who currently serves as an assistant coach for Peristeri of the Greek Basket League and the Basketball Champions League, under head coach Vassilis Spanoulis. He is 2.05 m (6'8 ") tall. He played at both the small forward and power forward positions. Early years Vasilopoulos was born in Maroussi, Athens, and grew up at his hometown of Ano Samiko Elis. Benjamin Bentil (born March 29, 1995) is a Ghanaian professional basketball player for Crvena zvezda of the Adriatic League and the EuroLeague. He played two seasons of college basketball for Providence before being drafted 51st overall by the Boston Celtics in the 2016 NBA draft. Steven Gray (born April 8, 1989) is an American former professional basketball player who last played for Peristeri of the Greek Basket League. He played college basketball for Gonzaga University. Gray spent his entire professional career overseas, playing in countries such as Greece, France, Israel, Lebanon, Latvia, Croatia and Bosnia. Ryan Harrow (born April 22, 1991) is an American professional basketball player for Béliers de Kemper of the LNB Pro B. Harrow finished his NCAA college career with the Georgia State Panthers, and is regarded as one of the greatest Panther basketball players ever. He plays the point guard position. The Basketball Champions League (BCL) is an annual professional basketball competition for European clubs, organised by FIBA. It is the top-level competition organised by FIBA Europe, therefore the champion participates in the FIBA Intercontinental Cup. VTB United League (russian: Единая Лига ВТБ) is an international professional men's club basketball list of basketball leagues, league that was founded in 2008. It is made up of mostly Russian clubs, along with one each from Belarus and Kazakhstan. Since VTB United League 2013–14, 2013, it is the Russian basketball league system, first tier of Russian professional club basketball.
