Areej Chaudhary
Areej Chaudhary (born 7 May 1997) is a Pakistani model and drama actress. She is the winner of Miss Pakistan World 2020 and was sent to Miss Earth 2020 virtually to represent Pakistan, she is also a phycologist by her profession. She was the first girl from Pakistan who was directly chosen for beauty pageants from the soil of Pakistan. Miss Pakistan World is a beauty pageant for women of Pakistani descent from around the world. The event is held annually in Canada. History The pageant was originally launched in 2002 by Sonia Ahmed under the name of Miss Canada Pakistan. The organizers held the event in Canada due to security concerns and the general attitude towards pageants held by the Pakistani public. Miss Earth 2016
Miss Earth 2016, the 16th edition of the Miss Earth pageant, with the theme "Empowered to make a Change", was held on October 29, 2016, at the Mall of Asia Arena, Pasay, Metro Manila, Philippines. 83 contestants from all over the world competed for the title. Angelia Ong of the Philippines crowned her successor Katherine Espín of Ecuador at the end of the event becoming the second Ecuadorian woman to win the title of Miss Earth and the first since Olga Álava in 2011. This year's edition also features the newly polished and modified crown created by Florida-based jeweler, ''Ramona Haar''. The crown's original design from the 2009 edition of the pageant to enhance the crown's general appearance and to have an intimate fit to the head of the winner. ''Geo Entertainment HD'' or Geo Drama is a Pakistani entertainment television channel owned by Geo Television Network was established in May 2002. Its test transmission started on 14 August 2002 on the PAS 10 digital satellite whereas on 1 October 2002 the regular transmission of Geo Entertainment was started. History GEO has been one of the oldest Pakistani networks, and regularly has received good TRPs on various daily soaps, reality series, and drama serials since inception. Geo used to show a lot of daily soaps when it was in its initial years and the soaps got popular too.
