Ardsley Union Free School District
Ardsley Union Free School District (AUFSD) is a school district headquartered in Ardsley, New York. Ryan Schoenfeld is the superintendent. The district has three schools: Concord Road School (grades K-4), Ardsley Middle School (grades 5–8), and Ardsley High School (grades 9–12). In 2018 it had about 2,000 students. History Circa 2003 Lauren Allan, who attended AFUSD schools, began working as an administrator in the district, and she later became its superintendent. In 2018 Allan resigned. Ardsley is a village in Westchester County, New York, United States. It is part of the town of Greenburgh. The village's population was 4,452 at the 2010 census. The mayor of Ardsley is Nancy Kaboolian. The Ardsley post office serves the entire village of Ardsley, plus some nearby unincorporated sections of Greenburgh. The Ardsley Union Free School District includes the entire village of Ardsley plus parts of the village of Dobbs Ferry, New York, Dobbs Ferry and unincorporated parts of Greenburgh. Ardsley has a library that is a member of the Westchester Library System. Ardsley High School
Ardsley High School is a public high school located in Ardsley, New York, in the New York City metropolitan area. It is a part of the Ardsley Union Free School District. The school was established in 1957 and serves students in grades 9–12. An extension was built onto the school and was completed in 2006. The school principal is Danielle Trippodo. History From the years 1920–1935, the population in Ardsley doubled; therefore an addition was added to the 'old' high school in 1925. The addition included more classrooms and a gym. By the second population boom during the post World War II years, the Ardsley School District sought to build a new High School on the former Lewisohn Estate on Washington Hill, which burned to the ground in 1957.
