Edward Jeffrey Irving Ardizzone, (16 October 1900 – 8 November 1979), who sometimes signed his work "DIZ", was an English painter, print-maker and war artist, and the author and illustrator of books, many of them for children. For ''Tim All Alone'' (Oxford, 1956), which he wrote and illustrated, Ardizzone won the inaugural Kate Greenaway Medal from the Library Association for the year's best children's book illustration by a British subject.(Greenaway Winner 1956)

Francesco Ardizzone (born 17 February 1992) is an Italian footballer who plays as a midfielder for club Monopoli on loan from Lecco. Club career Born in Palermo, Sicily, Ardizzone started his professional career at U.S. Città di Palermo. He was the member of the reserve from 2009 to 2011. Ardizzone made his debut in the last group stage match of 2010–11 UEFA Europa League on 15 December 2010. Reggiana On 1 July 2011 Ardizzone left for Italian third division club Reggiana along with Adriano Siragusa, as part of the deal that Gianluca Di Chiara moved to Palermo. Joseph "Joe Iron Man" Ardizzone (born Giuseppe Ernesto Ardizzone; ; November 19, 1884 – disappeared October 15, 1931, declared dead 1938) was an Italian-born early Los Angeles mobster, who became the first Boss of the Los Angeles crime family. He produced and co-directed the documentary ''Hacking Democracy'' with Russell Michaels (2006) and co-directed '' Kill Chain: The Cyber War on America's Elections'' (2020) with Russell Michaels and Sarah Teale. Anthony V. Ardizzone (born 1949 in Chicago, Illinois, United States) is an American novelist, short story writer, and editor. Biography Ardizzone was raised on the North Side of Chicago. He graduated from the University of Illinois at Urbana–Champaign, in 1971 and from Bowling Green State University with an MFA in 1975. In 1973 he also did a year of study at the University of Illinois at Chicago. He taught at Saint Mary's Center for Learning (Chicago), Bowling Green State University, Old Dominion University, and Vermont College of Norwich University. In 1985, he taught at Mohammed V University in Rabat, Morocco. His work appeared in Ploughshares. He served on the board of directors of the Association of Writers & Writing Programs. Ardizzone is a Chancellor's Professor in the MFA program at Indiana University, and lives in Bloomington, Indiana.
