Ardina
Ardina is a fictional character appearing in American comic books published by Marvel Comics. Fictional character biography The Defenders were told by Papa Hagg that they needed female analogs to counter The Order, and they found analogs of all the Order except for the Silver Surfer. Papa Hagg gave them a magic dagger to siphon off some of the Silver Surfer's energy and create a female by using a spell invoking Umar, Hecate, Demeter, Jord, and Apalla. Once Ardina was created, she and the rest of the Defenders were banished to a far off place. The Defenders were rescued from this strange place by Dr. Christopher Ganyrog and Romantic Objective Pamela. The Defenders then learned that they were on the planet Yann and that Yandroth was manipulating the Order. When many of the Earth's heroes attacked the Order, the Defenders and warriors of Yann helped the heroes. The Order (comics)
The Order is the name of two fictional superhero teams appearing in American comic books published by Marvel Comics. The first team was a brief offshoot of the team Defenders, and the second is part of an initiative to place a superhero team in each state of the United States. Mary Jo Duffy (born February 9, 1954) is an American comic book editor and writer, known for her work for Marvel Comics in the 1980s and DC Comics and Image Comics in the 1990s. Biography A native of the New York City area, Duffy attended Wellesley College. As a young woman, she had letters published in Marvel Comics letter columns in the mid-1970s. Kurt Busiek ( ) (born September 16, 1960) is an American comic book writer. His work includes the ''Marvels'' limited series, his own series titled ''Astro City'', a four-year run on ''The Avengers (comic book), The Avengers, Thunderbolts (comics), Thunderbolts'' and ''Superman (comic book), Superman.'' Dan Jurgens (; born June 27, 1959) is an American comic book writer and artist. He is known for his work on the DC comic book storyline "The Death of Superman" and for creating characters such as Doomsday, Hank Henshaw and Booster Gold. Defenders (comics)
The Defenders are a set of superhero groups with rotating membership appearing in American comic books published by Marvel Comics. They are usually presented as a "non-team" of individualistic "outsiders" who, in their prior adventures, are known for following their own agendas. The team often battle mysticism, mystic and supernatural threats. Its original incarnation was led by Doctor Strange and included Hulk, Namor, and—eventually—Silver Surfer. Yandroth
Y'Garon Y'Garon is a demon who has clashed with Marada the She-Wolf and Dracula. Yandroth Yandroth was the humanoid Scientist Supreme of the " otherdimensional" planet "Yann" and a would-be-conqueror who, with his robot Voltorg, has fought Doctor Strange as a counterpart to the latter's title of Sorcerer Supreme. Civil War (comics)
"Civil War" is a 2006–07 Marvel Comics crossover storyline consisting of a seven-issue limited series of the same name written by Mark Millar and penciled by Steve McNiven and various tie-in books. The storyline builds upon events in previous Marvel storylines, particularly " Avengers Disassembled", "House of M", and " Decimation". The series' tagline is "Whose Side Are You On?"
