Ardalan Shoja Kaveh ( fa, اردلان شجاعکاوه; born 1963 in Birjand, Iran), is an Iranian actor. He worked with Mohsen Makhmalbaf in the film '' Boycott'' (originally Baykot). Birjand
Birjand ( fa, بیرجند , also Romanized as Bīrjand and Birdjand) is the capital of the Iranian province of South Khorasan. The city is known for its saffron, barberry, jujube, and handmade carpet exports. Birjand had a population of 187,020 in 2013. Mohsen Makhmalbaf ( fa, محسن مخملباف, ''Mohsen Makhmalbaaf''; born May 29, 1957) is an Iranian film director, writer, film editor, and producer. He has made more than 20 feature films, won some 50 awards and been a juror in more than 15 major film festivals. ''Char Khooneh'' or ''Charkhooneh'' ( fa, چارخونه, italic=yes, ''Tattersall'') is a 2007 Iranian television sitcom. It recounts life in the Jamali household and set in the four-unit apartment building they own. A total number of 108 episodes in Friday time 10:00 p.m. were aired. The Title The title is a pun: Char Khooneh means "plaid" as well as "four houses." In the first episode, Mrs. Shokouh Jamali and her daughter Parastoo live in one apartment, one apartment is for Mr. Mansour Jamali when he's in the doghouse with his wife, one apartment is for the Jamalis' daughter Rana and her husband Hamed, and one apartment is vacant.
