Archery at the 2011 Pan American Games was held over a six-day period from October 17 to October 22. The events took place at the newly built Pan American Archery Stadium in Guadalajara, Mexico. Just like in the Olympics, the archery competition will be held using the recurve bow.Archery technical manual

Luis Eduardo Vélez Sánchez (born 26 July 1986, in Guadalajara, Jalisco) is an athlete from Mexico, who competes in archery. 2008 Summer Olympics At the 2008 Summer Olympics in Beijing, Vélez finished his ranking round with a total of 660 points, which gave him the 24th seed for the final competition bracket in which he faced Vic Wunderle in the first round.
