The Italian Catholic Archdiocese of Sorrento-Castellammare di Stabia ( la, Archidioecesis Surrentina-Castri Maris o Stabiensis) in Campania, has existed in its current form since 1986. It is a suffragan of the Archdiocese of Naples, having lost its status as a metropolitan in 1979. The cathedral is dedicated to Saints Philip the Apostle and James the Just, and has been the seat of the Archbishop of Sorrento-Castellammare di Stabia since 1986. It was previously the seat of the bishops and archbishops of Sorrento.
