Archbishop Hoban High School
Archbishop Hoban High School is a Catholic college-preparatory school in Akron, Ohio. It is sponsored by the Catholic religious order Brothers of Holy Cross. History In the early 1950s, Archbishop Edward F. Hoban invited the Brothers of Holy Cross to staff a new high school in Akron to be named in his honor. Hoban is the third Holy Cross high school in the Diocese of Cleveland, along with Gilmour Academy in Gates Mills and St. Edward High School in Lakewood. In 1953, Archbishop Hoban High School opened. In 1966 a group of students installed "The Big White Word", a set of hillside letters spelling "HOBAN", near the school along Interstate 80S (now Interstate 76). Akron () is the fifth-largest city in the U.S. state of Ohio and is the county seat of Summit County, Ohio, Summit County. Linebacker (LB) is a playing position in gridiron football. Linebackers are members of the defensive team, and line up three to five yards behind the line of scrimmage and the defensive linemen. LaTroy Rayshawn Lewis (born November 9, 1993) is a former American football linebacker. He played college football for the Tennessee Volunteers. Early years Lewis attended Archbishop Hoban High School in Akron, Ohio. He played high school football for the Knights football team under head coach Ralph Orsini. As a sophomore, he recorded 70 tackles, eight tackles for loss, 13 sacks, and an interception and earned Associated Press First-team All-Ohio, First-team All-Region and First-team All-Akron honors. James Harrison (American Football)
James Henry Harrison Jr. (born May 4, 1978) is an American former professional football player who was an outside linebacker in the National Football League (NFL). He played college football for Kent State University and was signed by the Pittsburgh Steelers as an undrafted free agent in 2002. A five-time Pro Bowl selection, Harrison won two Super Bowls with the Steelers: XL and XLIII.
