Arash Kamalvand ( fa, آرش کمالوند, born May 11, 1989, in Khorramabad) is a former volleyball player from Iran who played as an outside hitter for the Men's National Team from 2009 to 2013. Khorramabad
Khorramabad ( fa, خرمآباد, Khorramâbâd ), alternatively romanized as Khorramābād, Khoramabad, Khurramabad, Khorram Abad, or Khur Ramābād, is a city and the capital of Lorestan Province, Iran. Iran Men's National Volleyball Team
The Iran Men's National Volleyball Team is the official national men's volleyball team of Iran. It is governed by the Islamic Republic of Iran Volleyball Federation (I.R.I.V.F.) and takes part in international volleyball competitions. As of 11 September 2022, Team Melli is considered as the second team in Asia, as it ranks 10th in the FIVB World Rankings. The national team won the Asian Volleyball Championship four times: in 2011 Tehran, 2013 Dubai, 2019 Tehran and 2021 Chiba & Funabashi In its first appearance in the competition since joining the 2013 World League, Iran has been a dominant force in Group 1 of the competition, posing a challenge to any opponent. Iranian Volleyball Super League
The Iranian Volleyball Super League (IVSL) is a professional volleyball league in Iran at the top of the Iranian volleyball league system. It was founded in 1975 as the Pasargad Cup, but after the Iranian Revolution it was renamed to the first Division. In 1997 the league system was revamped and the Iranian Super League was established. Paykan Tehran has won the most titles in the new Super League with 12 titles. History The first season of a national Iranian volleyball league was held in 1975 with 12 teams competing. In 1976 Esteghlal became the champions for the first time, and they repeated this feat in the following season. In 1979 due to the Iranian Revolution the league was canceled. In 1989, the first Hazfi Cup for Iranian volleyball teams was held, in which Esteghlal became the first champions. FIVB Volleyball Men's Club World Championship
The FIVB Volleyball Men's Club World Championship is an international men's club volleyball competition organised by the '' Fédération Internationale de Volleyball'' (FIVB), the sport's global governing body. The competition was first contested in 1989 in Italy. It was not held between 1993 and 2008, but since 2009, the competition has been held every year, and has been hosted by Qatar and Brazil except in 2017 and 2018 where both hosted by Poland. Asian Youth Volleyball Championship
The Asian Boys' U18 Volleyball Championship, formerly known as the Asian Boys' U19 Volleyball Championship, is an international volleyball competition in Asia and Oceania contested by the under 19 men's national teams of the members of Asian Volleyball Confederation (AVC), the sport's continent governing body. Tournaments have been awarded every two years since 1997. The top four teams qualified for the FIVB Volleyball Boys' U19 World Championship. The current champion is Japan, which won its third title at the 2022 tournament. The 13 Asian Championship tournaments have been won by five different national teams. Iran have won seven times and Japan have won three times. The other Asian Championship winners are Chinese Taipei, South Korea and India, with one title each.
