Arafura Resources
Arafura Rare Earths Ltd is an Australian mining company headquartered in Perth, Western Australia and was listed on the Australian Stock Exchange in 2003. The company was formerly known as Arafura Resources until it was renamed in October 2022. The company's flagship project is the Nolans Rare Earths Project, located in Australia's Northern Territory, 135km north of Alice Springs. The project is one of the world’s largest undeveloped neodymium and praseodymium (NdPr) resources. With an initial mine life of 38 years and a valuable phosphoric acid by-product, Nolans will be a long life, low cost operation producing NdPr oxide. The rare-earth elements (REE), also called the rare-earth metals or (in context) rare-earth oxides or sometimes the lanthanides (yttrium and scandium are usually included as rare earths), are a set of 17 nearly-indistinguishable lustrous silvery-white soft heavy metals. Neodymium
Neodymium is a chemical element with the symbol Nd and atomic number 60. It is the fourth member of the lanthanide series and is considered to be one of the rare-earth metals. It is a hard, slightly malleable, silvery metal that quickly tarnishes in air and moisture. Anthony Albanese
Anthony Norman Albanese ( or ; born 2 March 1963) is an Australian politician serving as the 31st and current prime minister of Australia since 2022. He has been leader of the Australian Labor Party (ALP) since 2019 and the member of parliament (MP) for Grayndler since 1996.
