Aquatic sports, Aquatics at the 2019 Southeast Asian Games are being held from 26 November to 10 December 2019. Diving at the 2019 Southeast Asian Games, Diving, Swimming at the 2019 Southeast Asian Games, swimming, and Water polo at the 2019 Southeast Asian Games, water polo events take place at the New Clark City Aquatics Center within New Clark City in Capas, Tarlac. Water polo events were held from 26 November to 1 December 2019, while diving and swimming events were held from 4 to 9 December 2019. The Open water swimming at the 2019 Southeast Asian Games, open water (swimming) event will take place on 10 December 2019 at the Hanjin Boat Terminal, Naval Air Station Cubi Point, Cubi Point along Subic Bay in Morong, Bataan. New Clark City Aquatics Center
New Clark City Aquatic Center is a swimming and diving venue at the New Clark City in Capas, Tarlac, Philippines. It is one of the venues of the New Clark City Sports Hub, which is part of the National Government Administrative Center. It hosted the Aquatics at the 2019 Southeast Asian Games, aquatics events of the 2019 Southeast Asian Games and is set to host the 2023 Asian Swimming Championships. History The construction of the whole New Clark City Sports Hub, which also includes the Aquatics Center, began on April 25, 2018 with a cement-pouring ceremony. Jasmine Lai Pui Yee
Jasmine Lai Pui Yee (born 13 December 1995) is a Malaysian diver. She grew up in Perak, where she befriended future fellow Perak diving team member Kam Ling Kar. The pair took gold in the 3 metre springboard and 10 metre platform synchro events at the 2011 Asian Age Group Championships, while Lai won a gold medal in the 10 metre platform individual event. Lai and Kam and were initially scheduled to compete in diving at the Southeast Asian Games that same year, but in the end Lai did not participate. Lai won her first gold medal for Perak in the 1 metre springboard event at the 2012 Sukma Games. At the 2014 Sukma Games, she again partnered with Kam for the 3 metre springboard synchro event, where the pair won a gold medal; Lai subsequently edged out Kam to win a gold medal in the 1 metre springboard event as well. Quah Zheng Wen (; born 29 September 1996) is a Singaporean professional swimmer who specialises in individual medley, backstroke, butterfly and freestyle events. Education Quah was educated at Anglo-Chinese School (Independent) and had achieved 43 points out of a possible 45 for his IB Diploma. After completed his IB Diploma Programme, Quah was accepted into the Yong Loo Lin School of Medicine at the National University of Singapore, but chose to defer his studies. He subsequently went on to enrol at the University of California, Berkeley in 2017, before graduating in 2021. Swimming career In June 2012, he set a national record in the 200 m individual medley. Joseph Isaac Schooling (born 16 June 1995) is a Singaporean professional swimmer who specialises in butterfly, freestyle and medley events. He was the gold medalist in the 100m butterfly at the 2016 Olympics, achieving Singapore's first ever Olympic gold medal.
