April Rose (Haydock) (born November 3, 1987) is an American model, and actress. After being voted '' Maxim''s "Hometown Hotties" winner in 2008, she has been featured in magazines such as ''Maxim Canada'' as the cover girl, and has also appeared as herself in television shows such as '' Guy Code'', ''Girl Code'', ''Chicago Faceoff with April Rose'', and ''Chicago Huddle''. She has also appeared in various feature films such as ''Grown Ups 2'' and appeared on the Speed channel as a co-host for Barrett-Jackson Auto Auction. Early life Haydock acquired an emergency medical technician certification from Oakton Community College and a cardiovascular technologist license from PCCTI in Chicago. April Rose Pengilly (''pen-GILL-ee''; born 12 April 1988), also known as April Rose, is an Australian actress and model. Early life April Rose Pengilly is the daughter of INXS member Kirk Pengilly and designer Karen Hutchinson. She attended Wenona School, a girls school on the North Shore of Sydney, and began modelling during Year 12. She has used the stage name April Rose to separate herself from her father. April Rose Wilkens (born April 25, 1970) is an American woman serving a life sentence at Mabel Bassett Correctional Center after her conviction for the murder of Terry Carlton and the subject of the podcast series ''Panic Button: The April Wilkens Case''. She was one of the first women to use battered woman syndrome in an Oklahoma trial, and claimed to have acted in self defense, but it did not work in her favor and she was still found guilty by a jury. Local Tulsa news stations still to this day are hesitant to cover her case due to Carlton's family owning and operating dealerships which buy ad time from them. Her case caused an "outcry from those who say she acted because of battered woman syndrome." As of 2022, she was going into her 25th year of incarceration.
