Appula Appa Rao
''Appula Appa Rao'' is a 1992 Telugu-language comedy film, produced by B. Suresh under the Kamadhenu Creations banner, presented by Rama Prabha and directed by E. V. V. Satyanarayana. It stars Rajendra Prasad, Shobana and music composed by Rajan–Nagendra. The film was recorded as a ''Blockbuster'' at the box office and is widely acclaimed as one of the finest comedy films in Telugu. It was released on 24 January 1992. Plot Appa Rao is a bachelor who manages every day by living off the loans he takes from others. He manages to coerce the local MLA Nadendla Anjaiah into promising to repay his debts in exchange for the votes in Anjaiah's favor from the debtors of Appa Rao. One night, he meets a lady constable Subba Lakshmi, who slaps him for trying to protect some rowdies who tried to molest her. Rama Prabha
Rama Prabha is an Indian actress who performs in Telugu, Tamil and Hindi films. She has acted in more than 1,400 films and is credited as a character artist who shared screen space with superstars across all generation of South Indian Cinema with a career spanning over six decades. She formed a noted pair on Telugu screen during the 1970s and 1980s with comedian Raja Babu. She acted opposite Nagesh in Shanti Nilayam and many other films from 1968 onwards. Potti Prasad (born Kavivarapu Prasada Rao) was an Indian actor who predominantly worked in Telugu cinema. He was introduced to the films by Jandhyala. His notable roles include Chantabbai and Sagara Sangamam. Veturi Sundararama Murthy (29 January 1936 – 22 May 2010), known mononymously by his surname Veturi, was an Indian poet, lyricist and journalist who is popular for writing Telugu songs. His career in the Telugu cinema spanned more than four decades. He was highly admired and cherished for his deep and thoughtful lyrics in Telugu songs. Early life Veturi was born to Chandrasekhar Sastry and Kamalamba in Pedakallepalli, near Challapalli, Krishna into a Telugu Brahmin family.
