Appletree Bloom L
AppleTree is a Colombian rock band formed in Bogotá in 2012, consisting of Camilo Andrés Cárdenas (lead vocals, guitar), Alex González (bass) and Cristian Galeano (drums). Their music is inspired by indie rock bands with Lo-Fi aesthetics like Pavement, Guided by Voices, Dinosaur Jr. and Sebadoh. Beginning: ''Draft'' (EP) They recorded their first EP called ''Draft'' by mid 2012 with Fabián Cárdenas as producer and their bedrooms as studio. This EP was mastered in Blue Mountain in Nashville, USA. In October 2012 Galeano joined the band and they played their first gigs opening for the British band the Palace of Justice in different cities of Colombia. ''Draft'' was reviewed by blogs and media in the U.S.A., England, Germany, Switzerland, Canada, Mexico, Argentina, Costa Rica, Venezuela and Colombia. Rory Attwell
Rory Attwell is an English musician, best known for his part in UK punk trio Test Icicles, who formed in 2004 and played a handful of concerts before disbanding on 22 April 2006, after their sold out final show at the Astoria in London. During their time together they released the album ''For Screening Purposes Only'', and had UK Top 40 singles with "What's Your Damage" and " Circle. Square. Triangle". Post Test Icicles After Test Icicles split he went on to form RAT:ATT:AGG (later known as Wrists), with members of Bullet Union, Navajo Code and Abandon Ship. Wilco
Wilco is an American alternative rock band based in Chicago, Illinois. The band was formed in 1994 by the remaining members of alternative country group Uncle Tupelo following singer Jay Farrar's departure. Wilco's lineup changed frequently during its first decade, with only singer Jeff Tweedy and bassist John Stirratt remaining from the original incarnation. Since early 2004, the lineup has been unchanged, consisting of Tweedy, Stirratt, guitarist Nels Cline, multi-instrumentalist Pat Sansone, keyboard player Mikael Jorgensen, and drummer Glenn Kotche. Ken Coomer
Ken Coomer is an American musician and producer best known for his drumming in Uncle Tupelo and later Wilco. He was the drummer and co-founder of the Nashville-based band, Clockhammer, in the late 1980s/early 1990s. Career Coomer produced the debut solo album of Vaquero's singer Chetes, which achieved platinum record sales in the Mexican music market. In 2017, he produced the debut album of the Colombian indie rock band AppleTree called ''Horas Perdidas'', which was named the #1 Colombian album of 2018. As a member of Wilco, Coomer has performed on ''A.M.'', ''Being There'', ''Summerteeth'', and ''Yankee Hotel Foxtrot''. Yuck (band)
Yuck was a rock band that originated in London, England in 2009. The band's final lineup was drummer Jonny Rogoff, guitarist Ed Hayes, bassist Mariko Doi, and lead vocalist/guitarist Max Bloom, who formerly played in the band Cajun Dance Party along with former Yuck member Daniel Blumberg. The band's self-titled debut album was released through Fat Possum on 21 February 2011 in the United Kingdom. Critics have likened the band to bands such as Dinosaur Jr., The Smashing Pumpkins, Pavement, My Bloody Valentine and Sonic Youth. Palma Violets
Palma Violets were an English band from Lambeth, London. The band formed in 2011, based on the musical partnership of frontmen Samuel Fryer and Chilli Jesson. The band's musical output is primarily in the indie rock genre, with some garage rock and psychedelic influences. Palma Violets' first single, "Best of Friends", was voted NME's song of the year for 2012, and their debut album ''180'' was released on 25 February 2013. Much like The Libertines, the band gained a substantial fan base online before the release of their first single – with multiple live videos of their gigs being uploaded by fans. Buzzcocks are an English punk rock band formed in Bolton, England in 1976 by singer-songwriter-guitarist Pete Shelley and singer-songwriter Howard Devoto. They are regarded as a seminal influence on the Manchester music scene, the independent record label movement, punk rock, power pop, and pop punk. Lo-fi (also typeset as lofi or low-fi; short for low fidelity) is a music or production quality in which elements usually regarded as imperfections in the context of a recording or performance are present, sometimes as a deliberate choice. The standards of sound quality (fidelity) and music production have evolved throughout the decades, meaning that some older examples of lo-fi may not have been originally recognized as such.
