The Apostolic Nunciature to Chad is an ecclesiastical office of the Catholic Church in Chad. It is a diplomatic post of the Holy See, whose representative is called the Apostolic Nuncio with the rank of an ambassador. Pope John Paul II established the Nunciature to Chad on 25 November 1988. Joseph Chennoth
Joseph Chennoth (13 October 1943 – 8 September 2020) was a Syro Malabar Catholic prelate who worked in the diplomatic service of the Holy See. He was an archbishop and an apostolic nuncio since 1999. He was ordained a priest on 4 May 1969 by Bishop Paul Ch’eng Shih-kuang of Tainan, Taiwan. He prepared for a diplomatic career by completing the course of study at the Pontifical Ecclesiastical Academy in 1973. Pope John Paul II named him titular archbishop of Milevum and Apostolic Nuncio to the Central African Republic and Chad on 24 August 1999. Santiago de Wit Gúzman (born 5 September 1964) is a Spanish prelate of the Catholic Church who works in the diplomatic service of the Holy See. Biography He was born in the city of Valencia on 5 September 1964. He was ordained a priest for the Archdiocese of Valencia on 27 May 1989. After his ordination he obtained a bachelor's degree in theology from the Faculty of Theology San Vicente Ferrer of Valencia. Jude Thaddeus Okolo KC*HS (born 18 December 1956) is a prelate of the Catholic Church who has worked in the diplomatic service of the Holy See since 1990. He has been an archbishop since 2008 and held the post of Apostolic Nuncio in several countries. Beniamino Stella (born 18 August 1941) is an Italian prelate of the Catholic Church who was Prefect of the Congregation for the Clergy from 2013 to 2021; he has been a cardinal since 2014.
