Peter Bryan Wells
Peter Bryan Wells (born May 12, 1963) is an American prelate of the Roman Catholic Church who has spent most of his career in the diplomatic service of the Holy See. He has worked in Rome in the administration of the Secretariat of State and in foreign postings. He has been an archbishop and a nuncio since 2016. Biography Early years Wells was born the first of five children in Tulsa, Oklahoma He completed his studies in philosophy at St. Meinrad Seminary College in Saint Meinrad, Indiana. He completed his studies in theology at the Pontifical North American College in Rome. In 1990, he obtained a Bachelor of Theology degree from the Pontifical Gregorian University Priesthood Wells was ordained a priest on July 12, 1991 for the Diocese of Tulsa. Blasco Francisco Collaço (born 16 May 1931) is an Indian prelate of the Catholic Church who spent his career in the diplomatic service of the Holy See, including 30 years as an apostolic nuncio. Biography Collaço was born in Raia, Goa, India, on 16 May 1931. He attended the Seminary of Rachol from 1941 to 1953. He was ordained a priest on 2 May 1954. Studying from 1954 to 1957 at Rome's Pontifical Urban University, he earned a doctorate in canon law. He spent the next year at the Pontifical Academy of Social Sciences. To prepare for a diplomatic career he entered the Pontifical Ecclesiastical Academy in 1959. James Patrick Green (born 30 May 1950) is an American prelate of the Roman Catholic Church who from 2006 to 2022 served as apostolic nuncio to a variety of countries including to several Scandinavian countries from 2017 to 2022. Early years Green was born on May 30, 1950, in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. He studied for the priesthood and was ordained a priest of the Archdiocese of Philadelphia on May 15, 1976. Mario Roberto Cassari (27 August 1943 – 19 August 2017) was an Italian Roman Catholic archbishop and diplomat. He joined the diplomatic service of the Holy See in 1977 and served as apostolic nuncio in several countries from the time he became an archbishop in 1999 until he retired in 2016. Biography Mario Roberto Cassari was born in Ghilarza, Oristano, Sardinia, Italy on 27 August 1943. He was ordained a priest for the Diocese of Ampurias-Tempio on 27 December 1969. He obtained a degree in theology and a licentiate in canon law at Pontifical Lateran University in Rome.
