Apollon Larissa
Apollon Larissa Football Club ( el, ΠΑΕ Απόλλων Λάρισας) is a Greek professional football club based in Filippoupoli, Larissa, Greece. The club plays in the Gamma Ethniki, the third tier of the Greek football league system. It plays its home matches at the Philippoupoli Ground. History Apollon Larissa is one of the oldest and most historic groups that were created in the city of Larissa. The club was founded in 1930 by students of the Averofius Farm School of Larissa in a rural settlement of the city of Philipoupoli and its first name was "Dimitra". The name "Apollon" the team took it in 1952. Its colours are blue and white. Twelve years later, in 1964, Apollon Larissa managed and played it for the first time in Greek second division, but did not win a league match at that level. Vangelis Moras
Vangelis Moras ( el, Βαγγέλης Μόρας; born 26 August 1981) is a Greek former professional footballer who played as a centre back and currently a manager. Club career Early years Moras started his football Ampelokipoi Larissa and in 1999 he moved to AEL. In 2001 he played for Proodeftiki and after one season at the club, they won promotion to the first division in 2002. AEK Athens After having impressed in his first season in the first division, Moras was transferred to AEK Athens for €260,000, as a personal choice of the then coach, Dušan Bajević. He stayed at the club even at the new effort made by the Demis Nikolaidis administration in 2004 and left in 2007. With AEK he also competed in European in the UEFA Champions League group stage in 2003 and 2006, while also played in the Cup final on 10 May 2006 losing to Olympiacos. The Football League ( el, Φούτμπολ Λιγκ) was the second highest professional football league in Greece since its inception in 1962 as ''Beta Ethniki'' and until 2019.
