Aparna Gopinath is an Indian actress of film actress and theatre artist. She debuted in the Malayalam film '' ABCD: American-Born Confused Desi'' opposite to Dulquer Salmaan. Early life Aparna is born into a Malayali family in Chennai. She was a theatre artist and contemporary dancer before her acting debut. She has associated herself with ‘Koothu-P-Pattarai’, an avant-garde theatre movement of Chennai, and had also acted in renowned plays like ‘Six Characters in Search of an Author’, ‘Woyzeck’, ‘Moonshine’, ‘Sky Toffee’, ‘Sangadi Arinjo’ based on seven short stories of Vaikom abhishekh and several Shakespearean plays. Kasaragod () is a municipal town and administrative headquarters of Kasaragod district in the state of Kerala, India. Established in 1966, Kasaragod was the first municipal town in the district. Priyadarshan
Priyadarshan (born 30 January 1957) is an Indian film director, screenwriter and producer who works predominantly in Malayalam and Hindi films, while also having done six films in Tamil and two films in Telugu. He has done about 31 films in Hindi alone, the highest number of films done by any Hindi film director after David Dhawan. He was one of the first directors in India to introduce rich color grading, clear sound and quality dubbing through his early Malayalam films. Priyadarshan has also directed many advertisement films. Priyadarshan began his career in Malayalam cinema in the early 1980s and was active throughout the 1980s and 1990s. ''Bicycle Thieves'' is a 2013 Malayalam comedy thriller film written and directed by Jis Joy. 2nd IIFA Utsavam

The Asianet Film Awards is an award ceremony for films presented annually by Asianet, a Malayalam-language television network from the south-Indian state of Kerala. Asianet says that awards ceremony has been instituted to honour both artistic and technical excellence in the Malayalam language film industry.
