Apache Ambush
''Apache Ambush'' is a 1955 American Western film directed by Fred F. Sears and starring Bill Williams, Richard Jaeckel and Alex Montoya. Plot During the last days of the Civil War, President Lincoln (James Griffith) selects Indian scout James Kingston (Bill Williams) to facilitate a cattle shipment from Texas to the north. He is helped by cattle driver O’Roarke (Ray Teal) and Maj. McGuire ( Don Harvey). Mexican fanatic Joaquin Jironza (Alex Montoya) wants the Henry Repeating Rifles that Kingston has. Embittered ex-rebel leader Lee Parker (Richard Jaeckel) is also an obstacle to Kingston's mission, as he tries to get the cattle through Apache territory. Tex Ritter
Woodward Maurice Ritter (January 12, 1905 – January 2, 1974) was a pioneer of American country music, a popular singer and actor from the mid-1930s into the 1960s, and the patriarch of the Ritter acting family (son John, grandsons Jason and Tyler, and granddaughter Carly). He is a member of the Country Music Hall of Fame. Early life Woodward Maurice Ritter was born on January 12, 1905, in Murvaul, Texas, to Martha Elizabeth (''née'' Matthews) and James Everett Ritter. George Keymas (November 18, 1925 – January 17, 2008) was an American film actor, film and television actor.Martin p.68 Keymas graduated from Springfield (Ohio) High School. Keymas began his Hollywood career in 1950, mainly in Westerns. His first screen appearance was in an uncredited role in the 1950 B-feature film, ''I Shot Billy the Kid'', with lead Don "Red" Barry. Raymond Forrest Lewis (November 5, 1899 – June 2, 1977) was an American actor of the theater, radio, motion pictures and television. Early years Lewis was born in Knightstown, Indiana, the son of Joseph Saint Lewis and Myla Leota Lewis and attended Indiana University for a year. On August 23, 1917, he married Elsa Grace Cross in Knightstown. They had a son, Forrest Gallion Lewis, and eventually divorced.
