Aozora No Kakera
is the seventh single by Japanese pop singer Yuki Saito. It was released August 21, 1986, by Canyon Records together with . It was ranked #1 on the Oricon charts and #3 on The Best Ten chart, and is the only single from Saito to reach #1 on the Oricon charts. The title song was used in commercials for the Axia brand of cassette tapes from Fujifilm in Japan. Several artists have covered the song. History "Aozora no Kakera" was released on August 21, 1986, as a 7-inch vinyl record through Canyon Records. The single reached #1 on the Oricon charts, and is the only single from Saito to do so. It also reached #3 on The Best Ten chart. The B-side release was "Yubiwa Monogatari". The title song had lyrics written by Takashi Matsumoto, the music was composed by Toshio Kamei and was arranged by Satoshi Takebe. Yuki Saito (actress)
Yuki Saito ( ja, 斉藤 由貴, Saitō Yuki; born September 10, 1966 in Minami-ku, Yokohama, Kanagawa Prefecture) is a Japanese actress, singer and narrator. She attended Kanagawa Prefectural Shimizugaoka High School (now Yokohama Seiryo Sogo High School). She is well known in Japan for being a member of LDS Church, as she refuses to work on Sundays. Saito used a fake cigarette while filming the 1986 film ''Koisuru Onnatachi'' due to her beliefs. In 1985, after making her singing debut with her single '' Sotsugyō'' and her debut album, '' Axia'', she was cast in the lead role of Saki Asamiya in the first '' Sukeban Deka'' television drama series. She later revisited that story by playing Saki's mother in the 2006 movie, '' Sukeban Deka: Codename = Asamiya Saki''. Asako Toki
is a Japanese singer-songwriter and lyricist. Born to jazz saxophonist Hidefumi Toki, she was the lead vocalist for the rock band Cymbals between 1997 and 2003. Following Cymbals' breakup, Toki began her solo career with the release of ''Standards'' in 2004 and made her major label debut under Avex's Rhythm Zone with ''Talkin'' in 2007. To date, she has released nine original albums and eight cover albums, many of which are performed in both Japanese and English. Uchōten (有頂天 ecstasy) is a Japanese experimental new wave/post punk band, active in the 1980s and early 1990s. They formed in 1982 and disbanded in 1991, after releasing eight studio albums and two live albums. In 2015, after over two decades apart, Uchoten surprisingly reunited. History Uchoten formed in Tokyo, Japan from the ruins of a band called Densenbyou. Densenbyou's last concert was 6 April 1982 and Uchoten's first concert the same day.
