Aníbal Moreno
Aníbal Ismael Moreno (born 13 May 1999) is an Argentine professional footballer who plays as a midfielder. Club career Moreno played the last part of his youth career in Newell's Old Boys' system, signing on 20 January 2013 from Academia Duchini following stints with Barrio Nuevo and Villa Dolores. After progressing through their academy, Moreno made his bow in professional football on 25 February 2019 as the club faced San Martín at the Estadio Marcelo Bielsa; he was substituted on in place of Maxi Rodríguez during a 3–0 win. On 15 February 2021, Moreno joined fellow league club Racing Club on a one-year loan deal with a charge of $1 million, and a purchase option that, with bonuses, could potentially reach a total of $6 million. The purchase option would turn into an obligation if Moreno had played a certain number of matches for Racing during the season, which he did, therefore as of 1 January 2022, he became a permanent Racing player. Football At The Pan American Games
Football (soccer) at the Pan American Games has been included in every Pan American Games as a men's competition sport, since the first edition of the multi-sports event in 1951. The competition is organized by the Pan American Sports Organization. So as to avoid competition with the World Cup, FIFA have restricted participation of elite players in the men's tournament in various ways. Currently squads for the men's tournament are required to be composed of players under 22 years of age. The tournament was played in league format from 1951 to 1963, neither final nor bronze medal match hosted. Another format was used in 1971, this time the tournament was played in group format in early stages, but played in league format for final stages. 2022 Trofeo De Campeones De La Liga Profesional
The 2022 Trofeo de Campeones de la Liga Profesional (officially the Trofeo de Campeones Binance 2022 for sponsorship reasons) was the third edition of the Trofeo de Campeones de la Liga Profesional, an annual football match contested by the winners of Primera División and Copa de la Liga Profesional competitions, similar to the defunct Trofeo de Campeones de la Superliga Argentina. As Boca Juniors won both championships, 2022 Primera División and 2022 Copa LPF, Racing and Tigre (runners-up of the aforementioned competitions) played a semi-final to define the rival of Boca Juniors. Racing defeated Tigre by a 3–2 score. The final was played on 6 November 2022 at Estadio Único in Villa Mercedes, between Boca Juniors and Racing. Racing won their first title after the referee finished the match before the end of extra time after five Boca Juniors players had been sent off with Racing leading the score 2–1.
