Anusha is an Indian actress. She started her film career at the early age of 13 and was one of the prominent lead actress in Malayalam, Telugu and Kannada movies during 1990s and 2000s. She has also acted in Telugu serials later in her career. She is the daughter of Tamil actress K. R. Savithri. Actress K. R. Vijaya is her aunt. Anusha Dandekar (born 9 January 1982) is an Indian-Australian MTV VJ, actress and singer, who is best known as a VJ and a host who has hosted several shows. Early life Dandekar was born in Sudan on 9 January 1982 into a Marathi family of Shashidhar and Sulabha Dandekar, originally from Pune, India. She and her sisters, actress and model Shibani Dandekar and Apeksha Dandekar grew up in Kingsgrove, New South Wales, a suburb of Sydney, Australia. Anusha Mani (born 29 March 1985) is an Indian female playback singer who works actively in the Bollywood film industry. Early and personal life Anusha hails from a musically-inclined family, and learnt Carnatic music from Smt Meera Nathan. Having sung in Gujarati plays, she met Amit Trivedi with whom she made a music album, which was never released. She is married to singer-composer Sangeet Haldipur of Sangeet-Siddharth, the son of Amar Haldipur and brother of Siddharth Haldipur. Anusha Rizvi (born 13 March 1978) is an Indian film director and screenwriter. Formerly a journalist, Anusha's directorial debut, ''Peepli Live'', premiered at the Sundance Film Festival 2010 in the World Competition Section. It was the first Indian film to be accepted in the 25 years of the festival’s existence. The film also won the Best First Film Award at the Durban film festival and the Gollapudi Srinivas Award. The film was later nominated as India's official entry to the 83rd Academy awards. She also directed a National Geographic documentary ''Hijack IC-814'' and two BBC documentaries ''Amul'' and ''Khadi''. Anusha is currently developing a series for leading Indian platform, Hotstar.
