Anula Bulathsinhala
Anula Bulathsinhala ( Sinhala: අනුලා බුලත්සිංහල, born Anula Mendis (අනුලා මෙන්ඩීස්); 21 September 1947 – 16 October 2020) was a Sri Lankan actress and singer. She was popular for her acting in stage drama, television, and cinema. Personal life She married popular dramatist Lucien Bulathsinhala in 1970. The couple has one daughter and one son. Her daughter Indrachapa, is an accomplished opera singer in Vienna. Her son Harsha is also an actor, singer and musician. Career At a very young age, Anula saw many stage plays due to his father was being a theatre actor. She was trained in singing by her father during this period. Later she obtained a Diploma in Kandyan Dance during school times. She went India and obtained a Diploma in North Indian Ragadhari Music at the Bhatkhand University in Lucknow. Madampe is a town situated in the Puttalam District, of North Western Province, Sri Lanka. Madampe is a town with historical importance which was ruled by king Thaniwallbha according to the history. Hettipathirannehelage Dayananda Gunawardena ( Sinhala: දයානන්ද ගුනවර්ධන) (15 October 1934 – 24 June 1993), better known as Dayananda Gunawardena, was a Sri Lankan playwright, actor, lyricist, dramatist, radio play producer, and Sinhala Radio Play writer. Early life Dayananda Gunawardena was born in Halgampitiya, Udugampola in Sri Lanka. His father, Don Simon, was an English teacher. Gunawardena completed his schooling at the Ugampola Government School (1943–46) and continued his education at the Veyngoda Government Secondary School (1946–51). Beginning in 1951, he attended Ananda College in Colombo. While at school, he was active in many societies such as the drama society, in which he acted as the Junior Cadet Captain, and won the trophy of "best cadet". ''Tharawo Igilethi'' is a Sinhalese stage drama by Lucien Bulathsinhala, based on the twin brothers story on Singapore Country. This drama is directed and produced by Lucien Bulathsinhala. The play made a comeback after ten years as a new production in 2018. Music is produced by Gunadasa Kapuge. ''Goal'' ( si, ගෝල්) is a 2018 Sri Lankan Sinhala children's film directed by Rohan Perera and produced by Susara Dinal for Maharaja Entertainments as a Sirasa Movie. It stars Jayalath Manoratne and Chandani Seneviratne in lead roles along with Anula Bulathsinhala and Kaushalya Fernando. Music composed by Suresh Maliyadde.
