Antonio Sabato (footballer)
Antonio Sabato (; born 9 January 1958) is a retired Italians, Italian professional Association football, football player, who played as a midfielder. He was usually deployed as an Midfielder#Attacking midfielder, attacking midfielder, or as a Midfielder#Winger, winger on either flank, due to his ambidexterity. He currently works as a pundit. Club career Sabato made his career debut with Internazionale Milano F.C., Inter in 1976, making his Serie A debut on 7 November against Torino F.C., Torino. In 1977, at the age of 19, he was sent on loan to Forlì F.C., Forlì for two seasons in Serie C. As a starter, he played a leading role in helping the team gain promotion to Serie C1. During the 1979–80 Serie B, 1979–80 season, he played in Serie B on loan with A.S.D. Sambenedettese Calcio, Sambenedettese, making 16 appearances. The United States men's national soccer team (USMNT) represents the United States in men's international soccer competitions. The association football (soccer) tournament at the 1984 Summer Olympics started on July 29 and ended on August 11, taking place throughout the United States. It was the first Olympic soccer competition in which officially professional players were allowed. Until then, the amateur-only rule had heavily favored socialist countries from the Eastern Bloc whose players were professionals in all but name. Cesare Maldini (; 5 February 1932 – 3 April 2016) was an Italian professional football manager and player who played as a defender. Father to Paolo Maldini and grandfather to Daniel Maldini, Cesare began his career with Italian side Triestina, before transferring to AC Milan in 1954, whom he captained to win four Serie A league titles and one European Cup during his twelve seasons with the club.
