Antonio Romano (musician)
Antonio Romano (born August 6, 1962) is an Argentine thrash metal guitarist. He has worked in Cerbero, Hermética, Malón, Visceral and Razones Concientes. Biography Born in Caseros, Buenos Aires, son of Italian immigrants, Romano became a heavy metal musician after hearing an LP of Black Sabbath. He began his work in the 1980s, in a black metal band named "Cerbero". The band did not record any LP. He was considered a possible guitarist for V8 when Osvaldo Civile left that band, but he was not selected. Still, when V8's bassist Ricardo Iorio broke up the band in 1989, he hired Romano for his new band, Hermética, along with singer Claudio O'Connor and drummer Fabián Spataro. Romano composed the music of several songs of the new band. Hermética recorded three studio albums, and received a golden record for the sales of ''Ácido Argentino'' and '' Víctimas del Vaciamiento''. Hermética broke up in 1994, in controversial circumstances. Iorio created a new band, Almafuerte, ...

Caseros, Buenos Aires
Caseros is a town in Buenos Aires Province, Argentina. It is the head town of the Tres de Febrero Partido which forms part of the Greater Buenos Aires urban conurbation. In 1852 the area was the site of an important battle in Argentine history, the Battle of Caseros. Toponymy Caseros is the deformation (by locals) of the surname of Diego Casero, who bought land there in 1781. History The lands that now belong to the towns of El Palomar and Caseros, Buenos Aires were given by Juan de Garay to Captain Juan Ruiz in the second foundation of Buenos Aires Province on 1580, thus the locals called the place Cañada de Ruiz. There were two camps 1.600 yards wide; y a league background starting in Río de las Conchas, now Reconquista River With the passage of time, and successive sales, had become the property of Isidro Burgos who in 1781 were sold to Diego Casero. People From Tres De Febrero Partido
A person ( : people) is a being that has certain capacities or attributes such as reason, morality, consciousness or self-consciousness, and being a part of a culturally established form of social relations such as kinship, ownership of property, or legal responsibility. The defining features of personhood and, consequently, what makes a person count as a person, differ widely among cultures and contexts. In addition to the question of personhood, of what makes a being count as a person to begin with, there are further questions about personal identity and self: both about what makes any particular person that particular person instead of another, and about what makes a person at one time the same person as they were or will be at another time despite any intervening changes. The plural form "people" is often used to refer to an entire nation or ethnic group (as in "a people"), and this was the original meaning of the word; it subsequently acquired its use as a plural form of per ...

Lead Guitarists
Lead guitar (also known as solo guitar) is a musical part for a guitar in which the guitarist plays melody lines, fill (music), instrumental fill passages, guitar solos, and occasionally, some riffs and guitar chord, chords within a song structure. The lead is the featured guitar, which usually plays single-note-based lines or double-stops. In rock music, rock, heavy metal music, heavy metal, blues, jazz, punk rock, punk, Jazz fusion, fusion, some pop music, pop, and other music styles, lead guitar lines are usually supported by a second guitarist who plays rhythm guitar, which consists of accompaniment guitar chord, chords and riffs. History The first form of lead guitar emerged in the 18th century, in the form of classical guitar styles, which evolved from the Baroque guitar, and Spanish Vihuela. Such styles were popular in much of Western Europe, with notable guitarists including Antoine de Lhoyer, Fernando Sor, and Dionisio Aguado. It was through this period of the classical ...

Argentine Heavy Metal Guitarists
Argentines (mistakenly translated Argentineans in the past; in Spanish (masculine) or (feminine)) are people identified with the country of Argentina. This connection may be residential, legal, historical or cultural. For most Argentines, several (or all) of these connections exist and are collectively the source of their being ''Argentine''. Argentina is a multiethnic and multilingual society, home to people of various ethnic, religious, and national origins, with the majority of the population made up of Old World immigrants and their descendants. As a result, Argentines do not equate their nationality with ethnicity, but with citizenship and allegiance to Argentina. Aside from the indigenous population, nearly all Argentines or their ancestors immigrated within the past five centuries. Among countries in the world that have received the most immigrants in modern history, Argentina, with 6.6 million, ranks second to the United States (27 million), and ahead of other immigr ...

Madhouse (magazine)
''Madhouse'' was an Argentine heavy metal music magazine edited from 1989 to 2001. It was established by César Fuentes Rodríguez, along with other journalists from the former ''Riff Raff'' magazine. ''Madhouse'' was the first Argentine heavy metal magazine to arrange interviews with international bands, instead of translating such interviews taken from international magazines. Unlike the ''Metal'' magazine, it had an informal style and wrote harsh critics to recordings or plays they did not consider of good quality. It had a higher success as a result, and ''Metal'' ended publication in 1994. The magazine released some special editions as well, titled "''Madhouse extra''". Those special editions were specifically about a certain selected band. Some bands that got a special edition were Hermética, AC/DC, Kiss, Pantera, Megadeth, Marilyn Manson, etc. There was another special edition devoted to the Death metal genre in general as well. César Fuentes Rodríguez put aside the m ...

Intérpretes
''Intérpretes'' is an EP released in 1990 by heavy metal band Hermética. It is an album of covers, including songs from artists like Motörhead, V8 and Manal, among others. Production ''Intérpretes'' is the second work produced by Hermética, after the 1989 ''Hermética'' album. At that point, the label Trípoli Discos could provide only 27 hours of recording time. The band accepted the proposal. Lacking new songs, the band recorded a cover album. Bassist Ricardo Iorio commented that they were not really interested in receiving royalties, and thus had no problems in recording covers. One of the songs is a thrash metal version of the tango '' Cambalache''. Iorio commented that the lyrics of the song, written in the 1930s, were still vigent, and close to the lyrics of Hermética. He also played the song as an homage to Enrique Santos Discépolo, a tango artist that influenced him, and pointed that the song is well-known in neighbour countries. The band recorded as well "''Dest ...
