Antonio Muñoz (actor)
Antonio Muñoz (born Jose Rafael Antonio Muñoz, January 2, 1966, in Guatemala City) is a Guatemalan actor and three-time national motocross champion. He started racing motocross when he was eleven. During his third year of racing, he suffered a major accident, leaving him with major facial trauma and permanent loss of taste and smell called anosmia. Muñoz competed for twenty years as a motocross racer and held three national titles. In 2002, he decided to pursue a career in acting, although he had no previous experience and within days he became a member of the Screen Actors Guild. Antonio had his first break after six months. Desmond Gumbs, the director of ''Straight Out'' (2003), (his first film) took a great risk on Muñoz's raw talent and cast him in a major plot-driver role. Antonio Muñoz (born February 18, 1964) is a former Democratic member of the Illinois Senate, who represented the 1st District. The 1st district included all or parts of Garfield Ridge, Archer Heights, West Elsdon, Brighton Park, Gage Park, Chicago Lawn, New City, McKinley Park, Bridgeport, Armour Square, Lower West Side and Near South Side within Chicago. Early life, education and career Munoz graduated from Good Shepherd Grammar School and graduated in 1982 from Quigley South, now Archbishop Quigley Preparatory Seminary. Antonio Muñoz (baseball)
Antonio Nicolás Muñoz Hernández (born January 17, 1949) is a Cuban former baseball player who spent his 24-year career as a first baseman in the Cuban National Series (SNB). Known as "El Gigante del Escambray" (''The Giant of Escambray''), he played with Azucareros, Las Villas, Sancti Spíritus, and Cienfuegos. Muñoz won eight home run titles, and was the first player in the history of the National Series to reach 300 home runs. At the time of his retirement, he was the league's all-time leader in nine offensive statistics, including runs scored, doubles, home runs, total bases, walks and intentional walks. His career home run record stood until it was surpassed by Lazaro Junco in the 1980s. Antonio "Toni" Muñoz Gómez (born 4 February 1968), sometimes known as just Toni, is a Spanish former professional footballer who played as a left-back. Best known for his stint at Atlético Madrid – 243 La Liga games in ten seasons – he also worked with the club in various directorial capacities until 2006.
