Antonio Esposito (born 13 December 1972 in Lugano, Switzerland) is a Swiss- Italian former football midfielder who played throughout the 1990s and 2000s. Career Lugano Esposito played his youth football in the youth department of FC Lugano. He played his debut in the December 1991, coming in as a substitute as Lugano won 3–2 against Lausanne-Sport. He signed his first professional contract in the summer of 1992 and joined Lugano's first team before the 1992–93 Nationalliga A season. He had seven league appearances and played in the Swiss Cup final as Lugano won 4–1 against Grasshopper Club to lift the trophy. Esposito then became a regular player and stayed with the team for four years. Grasshoppers In 1996, Esposito signed for Grasshopper Club Zürich. Under head coach Christian Gross, Esposito played two seasons mainly in their starting eleven, winning the championship in the 1997–98 season. He spent entire career in Italian Lega Pro and Serie D division (3 to 5 highest level of the pyramid) Biography Esposito started his career at Serie D team Arbus, located in Sardinia island. Antonio Esposito (5 September 1990) is an Italian footballer who plays for Lupa Roma. Biography Born in Naples, Campania, Esposito started his professional career with Ligurian club Spezia. He made his league debut in the second last match of 2007–08 Serie B season, which the team later went bankrupt. In summer 2008, he was signed by Internazionale and played for its senior youth team – Primavera. He won 2009–10 UEFA Champions League as unused member of 25-men senior squad. He also played twice for Inter first team in friendly matches, as a left back. On 14 July 2010, he graduated from the youth team and loaned to Serie B club Padova.
