Anton Theodor Harris
Anton Theodor Harris (5 July 1804 – 6 March 1866) was a Norwegian politician. In 1844, he was appointed as the newly created Diocesan Governor of Tromsø stiftamt. He was also appointed as the County Governor of ''Finmarkens Amt'' and County Governor of Tromsø amt as well (both were subordinate counties within the Diocese. Mons Lie
Mons Lie (15 February 1757 – 2 August 1827) was a Norwegian police chief and writer. He was born in Ålen as a son of Jonas Monsen Storli (1715–1791) and Karen Svendsdotter Aspaas (born 1717). His mother was a first cousin of Svend Aspaas. In February 1777 he married Dorothea Wollan, but the marriage did not last. From October 1793 he was married to Elisabeth Sofie Müller (1772–1810). After her death he married Anna Margrethe Hagerup (1768–1840), a daughter of Christian Frederik Hagerup, in March 1811. Mons Lie was the ancestor of several notable people. His grandson Mons Lie (1803–1881) married a sister of Erik Røring Møinichen and had the daughters Erika (Nissen), Ida and Thomasine Lie. Another grandson Michael Strøm Lie (1807–1852) was the father of well-known writer Jonas Lie, who also married Thomasine Lie. Vilhelm Ludvig Herman von Munthe af Morgenstierne (2 October 1814 – 30 December 1888) was a Norwegian politician, part of an old noble family. He was born in Christiania as the son of Bredo Henrik von Munthe af Morgenstierne and his wife Cathrine Elisabeth Fries. His brother Christian Fredrik Jacob was a jurist as well as chief of police in Christiania for some time. His sister Augusta Julie Georgine married Prime Minister Frederik Stang. Vilhelm Ludvig Herman married Fredrikke Nicoline Wilhelmine N. Sibbern, a daughter of politician Valentin Christian Wilhelm Sibbern. They had several children. Gunder Aas
Gunder Aas (13 May 1785–5 May 1853) was a Norwegian civil servant and politician. He served as the County Governor of Stavanger county from 1833 until 1853. Gunder Aas was the son of a farmer from the village of Øyås in Melhus. He took the Norwegian legal exam in 1812. In July 1814 was appointed town bailiff in Vardø as well as the garrison auditor and a manager at Vardøhus fortress. He resigned from these positions with in 1817 and in 1817 became a procurator for upper and lower courts. In 1821, he was appointed as a judge in Vestre Råbyggelaget. In 1829, he became a judge in Jæren and Dalane. In 1833 he was appointed to be the Governor in Stavanger Amt. Aas represented Stavanger County in the Storting from 1833 to 1835. Carl Frederik Motzfeldt
Carl Frederik Motzfeldt (3 April 1808 – 24 June 1902) was a Norwegian politician. The son of General Major Carl M. Motzfeldt, he enrolled as a student in 1827 and graduated as cand.jur. in 1838. He was editor-in-chief of '' Den Constitutionelle'' from 1841 to 1842. He mostly worked in the Ministry of Auditing until 1854, when he was appointed Diocesan Governor of Tromsø stiftamt, which also included the jobs of County Governor of both Finmarkens Amt and Tromsø Amt (two of the subordinate counties under Tromsø). In 1857 he was elected to the Norwegian Parliament in 1848, representing the urban constituency of ''Tromsø, Hammerfest og Vadsø'', as the Governor was seated in Tromsø.
