Anton Peterlin (soccer)
Anton Alexander Peterlin (born April 4, 1987) is an American soccer player who plays as a midfielder, having previously played for San Francisco Seals, Ventura County Fusion, Everton, Plymouth Argyle and Walsall. Career Amateur and college Peterlin attended Lowell High School, where he was twice named the Most Valuable Player of San Francisco's public high school league. After graduating, he enrolled at the University of California, Santa Cruz, before transferring to California Polytechnic State University, where he majored in biology. At Cal Poly Peterlin was a Big West All-Conference First Team selection and an All-NSCAA Far West Region Third Team selection in his senior year. During his collegiate off-seasons Peterlin played for the San Francisco Seals and Ventura County Fusion in the USL Premier Development League. Midfielder
A midfielder is an outfield position in association football. Midfielders may play an exclusively defensive role, breaking up attacks, and are in that case known as defensive midfielders. As central midfielders often go across boundaries, with mobility and passing ability, they are often referred to as deep-lying midfielders, play-makers, box-to-box midfielders, or holding midfielders. There are also attacking midfielders with limited defensive assignments. David Moyes
David William Moyes ( ; born 25 April 1963) is a Scottish professional football coach and former player. He is currently the manager of Premier League club West Ham United. He was previously the manager of Preston North End, Everton, Manchester United, Real Sociedad and Sunderland. Moyes was the 2003, 2005 and 2009 League Managers Association Manager of the Year. He is also on the committee for the League Managers Association in an executive capacity. Moyes made over 540 league appearances as a centre-back in a playing career that began with Celtic, where he won a championship medal. Dean Smith (born 19 March 1971) is an English professional football manager and former player who is the head coach of club Norwich City. Starting his playing career as a defender with Walsall in 1989, over the course of five years he played 166 league and cup games. After signing for Hereford United in 1994, three years and 146 appearances later he moved on to Leyton Orient. In six years with Orient he made 309 appearances in all competitions, before earning a move to Sheffield Wednesday in 2003. After a season with Wednesday he moved on to Port Vale, retiring in January 2005. He scored 54 goals in 566 league games in a 16-year career in the Football League. Peter Reid (born 20 June 1956) is an English football manager, pundit and former player. A defensive midfielder in his playing days, Reid enjoyed a long and successful career. He built his reputation as one of England's brightest midfield talents of the time at Bolton Wanderers, before signing for Everton in 1982. It was there that he enjoyed the most fruitful spell of his career, as he helped the club win domestic and European honours, including the Football League twice.
