Anton Aleksandrovich Ivanov (russian: Антон Александрович Иванов; born 2 February 1985), is a Turkmen–Russian politician who was the Head of Belgorod from 21 December 2021 to 31 October 2022. Biography Anton Ivanov was born on 2 February 1985 in Mary, Turkmen Soviet Socialist Republic, in the Soviet Union. In 2007, he graduated from the Law Institute of Belgorod State University, in 2008 - the Institute of Economics and Management of Belgorod Technological University. Valentin Valentinovich Demidov (russian: Валентин Валентинович Демидов; born on 28 November 1976), is a Russian politician who is currently the 8th head of Belgorod, since 17 January 2023. He had also served as the 5th head of Simferopol from 2021 to 2022 and as the Minister of Economic Development of the Republic of Crimea from 2015 to 2016. Mary (), formerly named Merv, Meru and Alexandria Margiana, is a city on an oasis in the Karakum Desert in Turkmenistan, located on the Murgab River. It is the capital city of Mary Region.
