Anton Grăjdieru was a journalist and politician from the Republic of Moldova. He served as a member of the Supreme Soviet of the Soviet Union. He was the first editor in chief of the Romanian language program on Radio Ukraine, Radio Kiev. Also, he was editor in chief of Învăţămîntul public in Chişinău; on 18 September 1988 the newspapers published the Letter of the 66, an important call for a return to the Latin alphabet. Petru Buburuz (born 26 September 1937, Durleşti) is an Orthodox parish priest and politician from the Republic of Moldova. He served as a member of the Supreme Soviet of the Soviet Union and editor in chief of Luminătorul. Biography Petru Buburuz was born to Dumitru and Anastasia, on 26 September 1937 in Durleşti. Leonida Lari
Leonida Lari (26 October 1949 – 11 December 2011) was a Moldovan poet, journalist, and politician who advocated for the reunion of Bessarabia with Romania. She published 24 volumes of poetry and prose and was a prolific translator of key works from world literature into Romanian. Life and career Leonida Lari was born on October 26, 1949 in Bursuceni, Moldovan SSR, one of the former Soviet Socialist Republics of the Soviet Union. Her parents, Ion and Nadejda Tuchilatu, were teachers. Grigore Vieru (; 14 February 1935, Pererîta, Hotin County, Kingdom of Romania – 18 January 2009, Chișinău, Moldova, Republic of Moldova) was a Moldovans, Moldavian poet, writer and unification of Moldova and Romania, unionist advocate. Known for his poems and books for children. His poetry is characterized by vivid natural scenery, patriotism, as well as a venerated image of the sacred mother. Vieru wrote in the Romanian language. In 1993 he was elected a correspondent member of the Romanian Academy.
