V8 was an Argentine Heavy metal music, heavy metal band formed in 1979, one of the first notable Argentine and Latin America bands of that genre. After its dissolution former members have continued their careers starting other heavy metal bands, Hermética, Horcas, Rata Blanca, Logos and Almafuerte (band), Almafuerte. History In the beginning of the 80s, bass player Ricardo Iorio got together some other metal fans and they called themselves V8, whose early influences were Deep Purple, Judas Priest, Led Zeppelin, Motörhead, Budgie (band), Budgie, the Sex Pistols and Black Sabbath. Their Luchando por el Metal, first album was the first real piece of Argentine Metal, full in the raw style of their idols. They had much internal trouble, but managed to bring out another classic album in 1984. ''Antología'' is the sixth album by the Chilean band Fiskales Ad-Hok taken in 2004 which was recorded for the first seven issues. Also item 12 is an extract from the "Raras tokatas nuevas" of ''Rock & Pop'' and item 18 is a live recording in "La Batuta". The CD featured video clip of " Fiesta" (item not found in the collection) and "La noche de las dueñas de casa vivientes". Giovanna Marini
Giovanna Marini (born Giovanna Salviucci; 19 January 1937) is an Italian singer-songwriter and researcher of ethnomusicology. Biography She was born in Rome in a family of musicians. In 1959 she obtained her diploma in classical guitar at the Conservatorio Santa Cecilia. In early 1960s she began personally to know some Italian intellectuals and researchers of popular tradition, such as Pier Paolo Pasolini, Dario Fo, Italo Calvino and others. A communist, during her long musical career she became famous for her lyrics (many of them sung by Paolo Pietrangeli), embracing the themes of the Italian '68 period and other political and social issues. Shturcite ( bg, Щурците ; English "The Crickets"), sometimes romanized as Shturtsite, was a Bulgarian rock group. They were one of the most successful bands in Bulgaria during the 1970s and 1980s and still have many fans. The band broke up once in 1990, reformed in 1997, and disbanded again in 2013. The group has been characterized as "Bulgaria's answer to The Beatles". History The group was created in 1967 in Sofia by Kiril Marichkov, Petar Tsankov (both from Bandaratsite group), Petar Gyuzelev, and Veselin Kisyov (both from Slanchevi Bratya group).
