Antoinette Hertsenberg
Antoinette Hertsenberg (born 28 December 1964) is a Dutch television presenter. She is known for presenting the Dutch consumer television shows ''Radar'' and ''Opgelicht?!'', the latter for over sixteen years. Career She also presents the television show ''Dokters van Morgen'' on the topic of innovations in health care. She also presented the show ''Medische Detectives'', in which people with an undiagnosed condition can tell their story and describe their symptoms in the hope that a viewer may know something that can help with diagnosis. She was the procession reporter in the 2012 edition of '' The Passion'', a Dutch Passion Play held every Maundy Thursday since 2011. In May 2022, she won the Media Oeuvre Award. The Passion (Netherlands)
The Passion is a Dutch passion play, held every Maundy Thursday since 2011 in a different city each year. The event is broadcast live on Dutch television. In 2015 and 2018, it was broadcast on radio as well. The event began as a collaboration between the broadcasters EO and RKK. At present, it is mainly a joint effort between the broadcasters EO and KRO-NCRV. The participating organizations consider ''The Passion'' missionary work and they see it as a chance to promote Easter and Christianity in general. Creation The Dutch event and television program is partly inspired by the English local play ''Manchester Passion'', held on Good Friday and broadcast by the BBC Three. The production company Eye2Eye Media brought the event to the Netherlands. Maundy Thursday or Holy Thursday (also known as Great and Holy Thursday, Holy and Great Thursday, Covenant Thursday, Sheer Thursday, and Thursday of Mysteries, among other names) is the day during Holy Week that commemorates the Washing of the Feet (Maundy) and Last Supper of Jesus Christ with the Apostles, as described in the canonical gospels. Niko Karel Koffeman (born 12 May 1958) is a Dutch politician and animal rights activist. A Party for the Animals member, he holds a seat and is his party's leader in the Senate since 12 June 2007.
