Antje Stille
Antje Stille (born 8 September 1961) is a retired German swimmer. In February–March 1976 she set two world records in the 200 m backstroke. Later that year she competed at the 1976 Summer Olympics in the 100 m and 200 m backstroke events and finished in seventh and sixth place, respectively. Currently she runs a dental clinic in Magdeburg. Her stepmother Ursula Küper Ursula Küper (later Stille, born 28 November 1937) is a retired German swimmer. Salzwedel (, officially known as Hansestadt Salzwedel; Low German: ''Soltwedel'') is a town in Saxony-Anhalt, Germany. It is the capital of the district (''Kreis'') of Altmarkkreis Salzwedel, and has a population of approximately 21,500. Salzwedel is located on the German Timber-Frame Road. Geography Salzwedel is situated at the river Jeetze in the northwestern part of the Altmark. It is located between Hamburg and Magdeburg. Bezirk Magdeburg
The Bezirk Magdeburg was a district (''Bezirk'') of East Germany. The administrative seat and the main town was Magdeburg. History The district was established, with the other 13, on 25 July 1952, substituting the old German states. After 3 October 1990 it was abolished as part of the process of German reunification, becoming again part of the state of Saxony-Anhalt except Havelberg district, passed to Brandenburg. Ursula Küper (later Stille, born 28 November 1937) is a retired German swimmer. In 1960, she set a world record in the 100 m breaststroke. The same year she competed at the 1960 Summer Olympics and won a bronze medal in the 4 × 100 m medley relay. Two years later she won a bronze medal in the 200 m breaststroke at the 1962 European Aquatics Championships. She finished eighth in this event at the 1964 Olympics.
