Antigua GFC
Antigua Guatemala Fútbol Club is a Guatemalan professional football team based in Antigua Guatemala. They compete in the Liga Nacional, the top tier of Guatemalan football. They play their home games at the Estadio Pensativo. They are nicknamed ''Los Panzas Verdes'' ("Green bellies") in reference to the local avocados and as represented by the green stripes on the team uniform. History The club was founded in 1958 by Dr. Miguel Ángel Soto Bustamante and Mr. Antonio Martínez Barrios with the colonial city as its home. The club's first president was Rogelio Toldeo Estrada and the club's first manager was César Rodríguez Gudiel. After earning promotion to the maximum division (''Liga Mayor "A"'') in the 1957–58 season, Antigua finished third in the 1959–60 league table. However, they could not retain their level in the following years, suffering relegation after the 1964 season. Estadio Pensativo
Estadio Pensativo is a association football, football stadium in Antigua Guatemala, Guatemala. The venue is home to Liga Nacional de Fútbol de Guatemala, Liga Nacional club Antigua GFC, Antigua (''Panzas Verdes''), and has a maximum capacity of 10,000 people. The stadium is also the home of Guatemalan women's football championship, women's first division club ''Santiago de los Caballeros'',Nuestro Diario' and in 2011 it hosted three matches of the 2011 CONCACAF U-17 Championship qualification#Group B 2, 2011 CONCACAF U-17 Championship qualification between Panama national under-17 football team, Panama, Honduras national under-17 football team, Honduras, and Guatemala. 2020 CONCACAF League
The 2020 CONCACAF League (officially the 2020 Scotiabank CONCACAF League for sponsorship purposes) was the fourth edition of the CONCACAF League, a football club competition organized by CONCACAF, the regional governing body of North America, Central America, and the Caribbean. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, CONCACAF announced on 23 June 2020 that the start of the tournament, which was scheduled to begin on 28 July 2020 and end in November, had been postponed. On 7 August 2020, they announced the tournament would begin on 20 October and end on 28 January 2021. To ease the schedule, CONCACAF originally announced that the preliminary round and round of 16 would be played as single-leg matches, but on 29 October 2020, CONCACAF announced that this format had been extended to all rounds, with ties hosted by the higher-seeded teams based on the CONCACAF Club Ranking. 2019 CONCACAF League
The 2019 CONCACAF League (officially the 2019 Scotiabank CONCACAF League for sponsorship purposes) was the third edition of the CONCACAF League, a football club competition organized by CONCACAF, the regional governing body of North America, Central America, and the Caribbean. The tournament was expanded from 16 to 22 teams for the 2019 edition, with the addition of a preliminary round. The six new entrants were five teams from Central America, which had previously directly qualified for the CONCACAF Champions League, and a team from Canada playing in the Canadian Premier League, bringing the total number of teams playing in the CONCACAF League/Champions League from 31 to 32.
