Anti-Nasty League
''Anti-Nasty League'' is the seventh studio album by English industrial rock band Pop Will Eat Itself, released on 25 April 2015 by Rumjoint Records. Promotion In June 2014 Pop Will Eat Itself released "Reclaim the Game (Funk FIFA)" and "Watch the Bitch Blow" in August, with the latter appearing on Anti-Nasty League. In preparation for the album's release the single "Digital Meltdown" was featured on Soccer AM on 28 March 2015. Following the album's pre-order and digital release on 25 April 2015 the band embarked on a 9-date tour of England starting with a sold-out gig in Leicester on 22 May 2015 and concluding at Leamington Spa on 30 May 2015. Pop Will Eat Itself
Pop Will Eat Itself are an English alternative rock band formed in 1986 in Stourbridge in the West Midlands of England with members from Birmingham, Coventry and the Black Country. Initially known as a grebo act, they changed style to incorporate sample-driven indie and industrial rock. Graham Crabb describes their sound as "electronic, punk, alternative hip-hop, hybrid music for fucking, fighting & smoking cigars". Their highest- charting single was the 1993 top-ten hit "Get the Girl! Kill the Baddies!". After initially disbanding in 1996, and having a brief reformation in 2005, they issued their first release in more than five years in 2010. Noko (born Norman Fisher-Jones, 1 February 1962, in Bootle, Lancashire, England) is an English musician, multi-instrumentalist, composer and producer, has formed and/or played with a number of bands primarily as a guitarist or bassist. In chronological order they were: Alvin the Aardvark and the Fuzzy Ants, the Umbrella, the Pete Shelley Group, the Cure, Luxuria, Apollo 440, Stealth Sonic Soul, Fast, Maximum Roach, James Maker and Noko 440 (also known as Frankenstein), Magazine, Raw Chimp, Levyathan, SCISM, Am I Dead Yet? and Buzzcocks (at the Pete Shelley Memorial concert at London's Royal Albert Hall in 2019). Dave "Rave" Ogilvie is a Canadian record producer, mixer, songwriter and musician. The former member of bands Skinny Puppy and Jakalope started his recording career in Vancouver working as an engineer at Mushroom Studios. Jason Bowld
Jason Bowld is a British drummer currently playing with the metal band Bullet for My Valentine, and formerly of Pitchshifter, This Is Menace and AxeWound. Bowld's first show with Bullet for My Valentine was at Wembley Arena in 2010, their original drummer Michael Thomas wasn't able to play. Jason said Matt Tuck rang him and gave him the setlist with no rehearsals, he had two days to learn the set. In 2021, Jim Davies of Pitchshifter, Jamie Mathias of Bullet For My Valentine, Tut Tut Child and Jason, formed Shadow Addict, an electro metal band. They Fell from the Sky In 2008 Bowld formed They Fell from the Sky with Colin Doran of Hundred Reasons and recorded a series of demos before disbanding. Ian Garfield Hoxley, known by his stage name Mary Byker (a.k.a. Mary Mary) (born 20 December 1963), is an English singer, record producer and DJ known for his work as the lead singer of Gaye Bykers on Acid, Pop Will Eat Itself, Pigface and Apollo 440. Biography Early life Byker was born on 20 December 1963 in Sprowston, a suburb of Norwich, to father Ken Hoxley and mother Wendy Hoxley. Byker spent his early years living in Long Melford and Bury St. Edmunds in Suffolk before his family relocated to Leicestershire in 1970. He attended the Kibworth Primary School, Kibworth High School and Robert Smyth School in Market Harborough. Graham Crabb
Graham Crabb (born Graham Charles Crabb, 10 October 1964, Streetly, Warwickshire, England), also known as Crabbi, is an English musician, best known for performing in the industrial/dance rock band Pop Will Eat Itself (PWEI). Biography Crabb is a founder member of Pop Will Eat Itself. He, and (Clint Mansell) were the main songwriters. Drummer until the release of ''Box Frenzy'' in 1987, after which he became vocalist and co-frontman with Mansell. He worked with PWEI until 1995, and then formed Golden Claw Musics. Golden Claw Musics Golden Claw Musics was the main musical project of Crabb after he left Pop Will Eat Itself in 1995. In 1993, he remixed Pop Will Eat Itself's "Get the Girl, Kill the Baddies" as a B-side called "Part Man Part Machine", prompting him to release more of his ambient material. Dos Dedos Mis Amigos
''Dos Dedos Mis Amigos'' is the fifth studio album by English industrial rock band Pop Will Eat Itself. It was released on 19 September 1994 in the United Kingdom by Infectious Records and in the United States by Nothing Records, Nothing and Interscope Records. The album is somewhat different from the band's other albums, as it had more of an Industrial music, industrial influence and fewer samples were used. The cover art was created by longtime collaborators The Designers Republic. The album was the last before the band disbanded in 1996 (excluding the then A Lick of the Old Cassette Box, unreleased album), until the reformed band released ''New Noise Designed by a Sadist'' in 2011, with a different line-up. It was followed by an album of remixes, ''Two Fingers My Friends!'', which is the English translation of "Dos Dedos Mis Amigos". Leamington Spa
Royal Leamington Spa, commonly known as Leamington Spa or simply Leamington (), is a spa town and civil parish in Warwickshire, England. Originally a small village called Leamington Priors, it grew into a spa town in the 18th century following the popularisation of its water which was reputed to have medicinal qualities.
