Anti-Discrimination Act 1991
The Queensland ''Anti-Discrimination Act 1991'' is an act of the Parliament of Queensland that provides protection against unfair discrimination, sexual harassment, and other objectionable conduct. The Act was passed by the Queensland Parliament on 3 December 1991, received assent on 9 December 1991, and commenced on 30 June 1992. Scope of the Act The ''Anti-Discrimination Act 1991'' prohibits discrimination on the basis of the following attributes: * Sex * Relationship status * Pregnancy * Parental status * Breastfeeding * Age * Race * Impairment * Religious belief or religious activity * Political belief or activity * Trade union activity * Lawful sexual activity * Gender identity * Sexuality * Family responsibilities * Association with, or relation to, a person identified on the basis of any of the above attributes. Parliament Of Queensland
The Parliament of Queensland is the legislature of Queensland, Australia. As provided under the Constitution of Queensland, the Parliament consists of the Monarch of Australia and the Legislative Assembly.
