Anthony Thompson (American Football)
Anthony Q. Thompson (born April 8, 1967) is a former professional American football running back and a current pastor at the Lighthouse Community Church in Bloomington, Indiana. Early life Thompson was a three-year starter (1983–1985) for Terre Haute North Vigo High School, where he was a ''Parade'' All-American under coach Wayne Staley. College career Thompson played college football with the Indiana University Hoosiers football program where he won the Maxwell Award and Walter Camp Award in 1989. He also won the ''Chicago Tribune'' Silver Football twice, becoming only the third person to do so at the time (following Paul Giel and Archie Griffin). Thompson finished second in Heisman Trophy voting for the 1989 season. In 1989, he broke the record for career touchdowns in college with 65 touchdowns. Anthony Tyrone Thompson (born August 17, 1981,) is a boxer in the Junior middleweight division. As of July 2009, Thompson has a record of 24 victories, 18 by knockout, with three defeats. Career Amateur career Thompson had an outstanding amateur career, and was the 2000 National Golden Gloves Welterweight Champion. In addition, he was 2001 United States Amateur champion. Thompson was also the runner-up at 2001 World Championship in Belfast, Northern Ireland, losing to Lorenzo Aragon of Cuba. In 2000 Anthony also won the USA National Championships and the National (PAL) Police Athletic League Championship one of few boxers to ever win the triple crown of amateur boxing in the same year. Anthony Thompson is a Gaelic footballer who plays for Naomh Conaill and, formerly, the Donegal county team. He plays at wing back. He won one All-Ireland Senior Football Championship and four Ulster Senior Football Championships with his county. Playing career Club Playing alongside John Gildea in midfield, Thompson scored three points, including two frees, in the final as Naomh Conaill won their first ever Donegal Senior Football Championship in 2005. He was sent off in the final of the 2009 Donegal Senior Football Championship, which his team lost to St Eunan's. Henry Antony Cardew Worrall Thompson (born 1 May 1951) is an English restaurateur and celebrity chef, television presenter and radio broadcaster. Early life Worrall Thompson was born in Stratford-upon-Avon, Warwickshire. His parents, Michael Ingham (real name Peter Michael Worrall Thompson) and Joanna Duncan, were both actors. He was educated at the King's School, Canterbury, where he sustained facial injuries while playing rugby. He had to wait until he was twenty-one years old before he could have plastic surgery to correct the disfigurement. Early career After he left school, he studied hotel management at Westminster Kingsway College. Channel 3, also known as CH3, is an American punk rock band from Cerritos, California. History Channel 3 was formed in 1980 by Mike Magrann (vocals, guitar), Kimm Gardner (guitar), Larry Kelly (bass), and Mike Burton (drums), in the suburban community of Cerritos, California. Their first release was a self-titled EP on California label Posh Boy Records in 1981. "Manzanar", a track from that EP, was played heavily by UK disc jockey John Peel. In 1982, Jack DeBaun become their new drummer and their release ''Fear of Life'' was retitled ''I’ve Got A Gun'' in the UK with some differences in the track-listing.
