Anthony Semerad
Anthony Paul David Semerad (born April 25, 1991) is an Australian-born Filipino professional basketball player for the NLEX Road Warriors of the Philippine Basketball Association (PBA). He is also a model and TV host. His twin brother, David, who was his teammate in San Beda is also a professional basketball player for the Blackwater Bossing. The Semerad twins were born to a Czech father and Filipino mother from Pampanga and raised in Australia. They both studied at San Beda College, graduating with Business Marketing degrees. College career The Semerad twins were first recruited by San Beda in 2009. In their first three years with the Red Lions, the brothers were part of a team that had a historical 18–0 season, and two back-to-back championships. The NorthPort Batang Pier is a Philippine Basketball Association (PBA) team that first played in the 2012–13 PBA season. The team took over the franchise of the Powerade Tigers in 2012 after it was sold to Sultan 900 Capital, Inc. Besides NorthPort, team owner Mikee Romero also co-owned the AirAsia Philippine Patriots of the ASEAN Basketball League. The Meralco Bolts is a professional basketball team in the Philippine Basketball Association. The team began in 2010 after the Manila Electric Company (MERALCO) acquired the PBA franchise of the Sta. Lucia Realtors. The team is one of three PBA teams presently under the control of businessman Manuel V. Pangilinan – the other teams being the TNT Tropang Giga and the NLEX Road Warriors. The San Miguel Beermen are a professional basketball team in the Philippine Basketball Association (PBA). It is one of three PBA clubs owned by the San Miguel Corporation group of companies along with the Magnolia Hotshots and Barangay Ginebra San Miguel. It is the most successful franchise in the history of the PBA and the only remaining original franchise in the league. The Beermen have the most titles with 28 and the most all-time victories with more than 1,200 wins. Sean Michael Dee Anthony (born January 26, 1986) is a Filipino-Canadian professional basketball player for the NLEX Road Warriors of the Philippine Basketball Association (PBA). He was drafted sixth overall in 2010 by the Air21 Express but was immediately shipped to the Powerade Tigers on draft night. In his rookie year, he won the Rookie Sophomore Blitz game MVP. College Sean Anthony finished his varsity career at McGill where he was a physical education major. At McGill, Anthony had a reputation as a defensive stopper and slasher.
